Deaf Run Club Melbourne is kicking off this Thursday! 🤟

Our first run is Thursday 24 September at The Tan, meeting at Morrell Bridge.

🕠 Arrive from 5:30pm
🔥 Warm-up from 5:50pm
🏃 Run starts at 6:00pm
📏 5km easy/social run

The plan is to run every Thursday and see how we go! Everyone is welcome, all fitness levels, whether you’re a regular runner or just want to get moving, meet new people and have a bit of fun.

If there’s enough interest, we’d also love to start doing Sunday morning runs, followed by coffee or breakfast together ☕🥐 ,making it just as much about the social side and community as the running!

Kicking off National Week of Deaf People a little early in Victoria!

We knew this week was going to be a busy one, so on Sunday DSRV partnered with Deaf Connect to bring the community together at Braybrook for a fun activity day!

We had around 50 people come through, lots of great feedback, met some new families including CODA families, and best of all — seeing the kids having fun and enjoying all the different activities!

Chess, footy, darts, bowls and plenty of smiles throughout the day! ♟️🏉🎯

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, helped out and supported the day. 💚
