🎌 What an incredible day at the Geelong Japanese Festival!
We were truly humbled by the response to our Kendo display and demonstration — hearing people say "Finally, there's Kendo in Geelong!" meant the world to us.

None of it would have been possible without our amazing community. A heartfelt thank you to:

An incredible honour for Geelong Kendo Club!

October 25th - We had the absolute privilege of training with 13 delegates from the Buyokan Dojo, Fukuoka, Japan - including 3 7th Dan Sensei and 5 talented junior members.

Buyokan Dojo is preparing to celebrate their 100th Anniversary in 2031 (founded in 1931) - nearly a century of kendo tradition and excellence! Setting the standard for Geelong Kendo Club. To share our training with such history and experienced Sensei was truly humbling for our beginners.

Thank you to members of Ballarat Kendo Club and Nanseikan Kendo Club for joining the training despite of other commitments you all had on the day.
