With a heavy heart, I share the sad news of the passing of a true legend, Bob Rodman. Bob was a cherished figure in our community, known and loved by so many at the East Devonport Tennis Club, the East Devonport Badminton Club, and as a regular visitor to the Latrobe Tennis Club. His passion for sport brought us together, and his presence on and off the court was nothing short of inspiring.
Bob’s courage and spirit shone through in everything he did. He faced life’s challenges with strength and grace, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether he was smashing a shuttlecock, rallying on the tennis court, or simply sharing a laugh, Bob’s warmth and dedication made every moment brighter.
Now, as he rests in peace, we hold onto the memories of his incredible spirit and the joy he brought to our clubs and lives. Bob, you’ll forever be in our hearts, and your legacy will live on in the communities you helped shape.
Rest in peace, mate.
