Throwback Thursday this week folks finds us with 9th degree Grandmaster Henry Sue demonstrating how to attack with small movements. His art, Yuen Mo Pai, uses one inch punch energy to devastate an opponent and it is the circular movements derived from tai chi that deliver a never ending stream of blows to the neck, head, chest and abdomen. Until you have actually felt the force of these blows, iit is difficult to explain just how powerful they can be and nothing is out of bounds in this art. As Grandmaster Sue always says; "If you haven't feinted your opponent on the first strike, you'e doing it wrong".

Throwing back yet another Thursday folks. Along with other techniques, Grandmaster Henry Sue's art Yuen Mo Pai incorporates the circular movements of Tai Chi. These circular movements deliver strikes continuously in a circular fashion with no time wasted bringing the arm in and out as is done in boxing or many other martial arts. Here we find him demonstrating the application behind the Tai Chi Movement of Ye Ma Fen Zong or "Part The Wild Horses Mane". While Ta Chi is practised by many around the world as just a meditative exercise, let's not forget that its original application was a martial art.

Throwing back another Thursday folks and this time we find Grandmaster Sue on the attack. Using chum energy (downwards sinking energy) to begin the attack, his cobra like speed and lightening reflexes have afforded him several deadly strikes before his opponent has even had time to react.
