School Coaching Wrap-Up: Table Top Primary School

Over the past four weeks, Coach Brett has had the absolute pleasure of coaching the students at Table Top Primary School.

The kids worked hard expanding their athletics skills across a massive program, tackling:

Throws: Shot Put & Discus

Jumps: Long Jump & High Jump

All of their training has been perfect preparation for their upcoming School Athletics Carnival this week. Thank you to Table Top Primary School for the fantastic opportunity to inspire, teach, and encourage your students over the past four weeks! It has been an absolute privilege watching their skills and confidence grow.

SQUAD Success — Riverina Cross Country Championships.

Talk about having a massive week! Fresh off breaking a 200m record at the Zone Athletics Carnival, Eli headed to the Riverina Cross Country Championships with a mission.

Showing incredible grit and a serious engine, Eli dug deep for a huge sprint finish to hold onto 5th position—officially qualifying him for the State Championships in Sydney!

To have the speed for a track record and the endurance to secure a State spot in Cross Country in the same window is a phenomenal athletic feat.

Huge congratulations, Eli!

SQUAD SUCCESS

We are taking a quick pause on our Albury Zone Athletics updates (don't worry, more of those are on the way!) to celebrate an incredible achievement out on the Cross Country trails.

A massive congratulations to Fletcher, who placed 3rd in his age group at the Riverina Cross Country Championships, with a new personal best time as well! 🥉🏆

Fletcher’s fantastic podium finish means he has officially qualified to represent the region at the State Cross Country Championships in Sydney!

Crossing over from the track to the gruelling cross-country terrain takes serious endurance and mental toughness. Congratulations Fletcher, you have worked incredibly hard for these results and good luck at State!

SQUAD Success - Albury Zone Athletics Carnival

Huge congratulations to Rex, who had an absolutely dominant day at the Zone Carnival, qualifying for Riverina in all four of his events!

Showing incredible athletic versatility and grit, Rex literally ran straight off the track from his 100m sprint, stepped right up to the runway, and won the Long Jump!

His outstanding results:
🥇 1st: High Jump
🥇 1st: Long Jump
🥈 2nd: 200m
🥈 2nd: 100m

Pictured are competitor's but squad team mates Nate, Rex & Fletcher who all had great results! It's always better when you can share your successes with friends.

Congratulations to Owen on his outstanding performance at the Albury Zone Athletics Carnival!

Owen has qualified for the Riverina Championships after finishing equal first in the High Jump, clearing an impressive 1.50m.
