Club Motori Italia Club Motori Italia is a car club catering to owners of Italian Cars and others based in Hobart, Tasmania and was formed in March 1995.

Club Motori Italia is based in Hobart, Tasmania and was formed in March 1995. The club emerged from the previous Italian car and Motorcycle Club which split to allow the four wheelers and two wheelers to pursue different interests. The Club's aims are:

To promote interest in Italian motor vehicles

To provide social interaction for members

To enhance the image of Italian motor vehicles in genera

To encourage the participation of members in all forms of motorsports and to cooperate with similar clubs throughout Australia and the world

Presentations to winners of the Shannons awards in the 2026 Lufra Regularity Hillclimb last Saturday;
1st outright and 1st Early Modern- Angus Milne
2nd Outright and 1st Classic- Donald Frazer
3rd Outright and 1st Modern- Byron Saunders.

The winning Team was - "Best of British"

Also congratulations to the winners of the Lufra Hotel and Apartments prize selected from the volunteer course marshals on the day. This years prize was won by Scott Kregor and Natalie Hocking.

Here are the revised results of Saturdays 2026 Lufra regularity Hillclimb.
(we found an error in the scoring of the previous results. While all the published times were correct a few competitors scores were incorrect. The revised results haven't changed the outright or Era category winners however there have been some changes to other placings. The race committee apologise for this error)

Here are the revised Teams results for the 2026 Lufra regularity hillclimb.

(review of the results found a scoring anomaly in the way nominated times were entered into our live spreadsheet.
While all published times were correct a few competitors had their scores calculated incorrectly. The Team results have changed and congratulations to "Best of British" for their win.
The race committee apologise this error.)
