Mountain biking, hiking, river paddling, Fast Water Rafting, guided and self-guided tours and Waypoints Cafe all 90 minutes south of Perth. Dwellingup is a small country town situated in the Peel Region, Western Australia. Just 100km south of the Perth GPO and 43km inland from Mandurah, Dwellingup is an easy days outing. Surrounded by forest and with the Murray River close by the area has become one of the principal playgrounds for outdoor recreation and education in the Perth region. Visitors seeking an intimate experience with the natural environment or perhaps a more interactive experience will find that Dwellingup and its surrounds have plenty to offer. Dwellingup Adventures is situated in the heart of the town at the Dwellingup Trails and Visitors Centre and offers a wide range of equipment for hire including canoes, rafts, mountain bikes and camping equipment. A number of self guided tours are also available from hiking, mountain biking and hike/canoe combo. During winter the Murray River flows at its challenging best, offering self-guided fast water rafting tours.
