❤️💚💛 GRAND FINALISTS 2026 👏🥳
With just one day to go until the North Sydney Junior Rugby League Grand Finals, our club is absolutely humming with excitement!
What a year it has been. We welcomed a new committee and many new families into our Hawks community, while some of our longest-standing Hawks families continued to pass on what they love most, turning up each weekend and supporting our great game.
At the beginning of the year, as we prepared the club for the 2026 season, we dreamt about moments like this. We wanted to build a club our players and families were proud to belong to, a strong community where our kids could grow, compete, build friendships and love their footy.
For many of our U14 girls and boys, this journey began when they were just six years old. They have grown up wearing the Hawks colours, standing beside their mates and working hard each year for the chance to play in a Grand Final.
Now, that day is almost here.
We dreamt of making the Grand Finals, but like most dreams, there were moments when we wondered: Could we really do it? Could we make it all the way?
When you work together as a village, you discover that anything is possible and together, we did it!
Our club has worked tirelessly through challenges and celebrated some incredible successes. Along the way, we have formed special friendships with our neighbouring clubs. That community spirit is exactly what junior footy should be about.
To our players, you have trained hard, listened to your coaches, supported your teammates and shown how much you wanted this. Today, prepare well, eat well, sleep well and enjoy every moment leading into tomorrow’s very special game.
To our parents—take it all in. ❤️
You are watching your children grow, build lifelong friendships and experience moments they will remember and cherish forever. These are the stories they will still be telling years from now, maybe even to their own children one day.
Come and join us at North Sydney Oval tomorrow as we cheer on our U14 Tag girls and U14 Tackle boys, and celebrate every player, coach, manager, volunteer, parent, sibling and supporter who helped them reach this moment.
Whatever happens tomorrow, YOU MADE IT. You earned it. Your entire Hawks community could not be prouder.
