š¹ Bachelor #4 - Xavier āOld Soulā Limbers
Some men send āu up?ā
Xavier Limbers writes poetry.
Affectionately known around the club as āOld Soul,ā Xavier is a man who was somehow born 60 years old. While the rest of the boys are sinking tins after full-time, heās brewing Earl Grey tea, solving riddles that nobody asked, and wondering why Hollywood never gave The Notebook the sequel it deserved.
A true romantic at heart, Xavier believes love should be built on meaningful conversation, handwritten letters and quality board games. Monopoly is his specialty - although heāll only play if heās the banker. āItās about trust,ā he says. The rest of the club isnāt convinced.
Heās also a dangerous Twister operator, capable of tying himself - and occasionally others - into knots.
Having grown up with four sisters, Xavier is fluent in feminine energy. He listens. He communicates. He doesnāt raise his voice. In fact, heās so calm during disagreements that youāll probably end up apologising to him.
Love hasnāt always been straightforward, though. There was a brief chapter where romance and rugby crossed paths a little too closely. Letās just say family dinners and team selection became equally awkward⦠but every poet needs a little heartbreak for inspiration.
Despite all this, Xavier remains one of the clubās greatest romantics.
Thereās just one tiny catchā¦
Heās never actually kissed a girl.
So ladies, if youāve ever dreamed of being somebodyās first kiss, discussing poetry over Earl Grey, and absolutely dominating a Monopoly game with the clubās smoothest talker, Xavier āOld Soulā Limbers is waiting patiently.
Just donāt turn up wearing Crocs with socks⦠and whatever you do, donāt mention flowery apples or the lack of a Notebook sequel. š¹
