🌹 Bachelor #5 – Joel Cummings

If there’s one thing Joel Cummings knows, it’s that there are plenty of fish in the sea…

…and he’ll catch every single one of them—responsibly, of course.

Joel is the outdoorsman every father dreams of. He lives for early mornings on the water, the unmistakable stank of bait, and has enough fishing gear to open his own tackle shop. But don’t worry ladies, he’s an ethical king. Every fish is caught using sustainable fishing practices. Conservation has never looked so handsome.

When he’s not chasing flathead, he’s chasing a bargain. Nothing gets Joel’s heart racing quite like the latest Aldi Special Buys catalogue. Whether it’s a pressure washer, chainsaw or a 12-person inflatable spa, if it’s in the middle aisle… Joel already owns two.

He’s also not afraid to splash a bit of cash. Dinner? His shout. Dessert? Why not. That suspiciously expensive fishing reel he definitely didn’t need? Already in the trolley.

Joel has a few deal-breakers though. Germs are public enemy number one. He’ll sanitise his hands three times before touching the menu. He’ll tell you he hates Anthony Albanese… before quietly voting Labor on election day. Make it make sense.

His biggest red flag? Blokes who ghost after the first date.

ā€œSeriously, just communicate. Women are humans too.ā€

Green flag behaviour.

Now, we do have to address the elephant in the room. Joel’s hairline has started exploring opportunities slightly further north. He’s calling it ā€œmaturing.ā€ The rest of the club calls it ā€œa tactical retreat.ā€

So ladies, if you’re after a man who’ll bait your hook, buy you the middle aisle’s finest bargains, treat you with respect, and never leave you on read…

Joel Cummings is ready to reel you in. šŸŽ£šŸŒ¹

🌹 Bachelor #4 - Xavier ā€œOld Soulā€ Limbers

Some men send ā€œu up?ā€

Xavier Limbers writes poetry.

Affectionately known around the club as ā€œOld Soul,ā€ Xavier is a man who was somehow born 60 years old. While the rest of the boys are sinking tins after full-time, he’s brewing Earl Grey tea, solving riddles that nobody asked, and wondering why Hollywood never gave The Notebook the sequel it deserved.

A true romantic at heart, Xavier believes love should be built on meaningful conversation, handwritten letters and quality board games. Monopoly is his specialty - although he’ll only play if he’s the banker. ā€œIt’s about trust,ā€ he says. The rest of the club isn’t convinced.

He’s also a dangerous Twister operator, capable of tying himself - and occasionally others - into knots.

Having grown up with four sisters, Xavier is fluent in feminine energy. He listens. He communicates. He doesn’t raise his voice. In fact, he’s so calm during disagreements that you’ll probably end up apologising to him.

Love hasn’t always been straightforward, though. There was a brief chapter where romance and rugby crossed paths a little too closely. Let’s just say family dinners and team selection became equally awkward… but every poet needs a little heartbreak for inspiration.

Despite all this, Xavier remains one of the club’s greatest romantics.

There’s just one tiny catch…

He’s never actually kissed a girl.

So ladies, if you’ve ever dreamed of being somebody’s first kiss, discussing poetry over Earl Grey, and absolutely dominating a Monopoly game with the club’s smoothest talker, Xavier ā€œOld Soulā€ Limbers is waiting patiently.

Just don’t turn up wearing Crocs with socks… and whatever you do, don’t mention flowery apples or the lack of a Notebook sequel. 🌹

🌹 Bachelor #3 – Jonathan ā€œJabsā€ Abdow

Every club has one bloke who looks like he’d leave you on read.

Jono Abdow is not that bloke.

Despite looking like he spends his weekends in underground fight clubs, Jabs is secretly the biggest softie at Redfield. His perfect evening isn’t a night out—it’s a warm fireplace, candlelit dinner, Taylor Swift in the background, and someone who doesn’t judge him for knowing every lyric.

Don’t let the romance fool you though.

When the game’s on the line, Jabs has an annoying habit of popping up exactly where he needs to be. Match-winning tries? That’s becoming a bit of a trademark. While everyone else is panicking, he’s already under the posts with the game won.

He’s got a heart of gold, zero tolerance for toxic masculinity, and believes pineapple belongs absolutely nowhere near a pizza.

If you ever catch him with a bottle of Grey Goose in hand, don’t be alarmed. He’s probably just about to give an emotional speech about friendship before putting Love Story on the speaker.

So ladies, if you’re after a man who can score the winning try on Saturday and plan the perfect date on Sunday, Jonathan ā€œJabsā€ Abdow is ready to sweep you off your feet.🌹

🌹 Bachelor #2 – Justin ā€œSaltyā€ Sultana

Every rugby club has one bloke who’s convinced he’s the smartest person in the room.

For Redfield, that’s Justin ā€œSaltyā€ Sultana.

He’s a rare 50/50 split—half gentleman, half bad boy. Not the kind your parents warn you about… just the kind who somehow becomes the centre of attention the moment he steps onto the dance floor.

You can usually catch Salty riding his bike from Dural to the city in skin-tight Lycra. The helmet fits perfectly on his bald but beautiful head, and somehow he still thinks he’s underdressed.

But Salty isn’t just all heart—he’s all brain too. As an overachieving intellectual, he’ll happily explain economics, rugby tactics, property prices or why your favourite beer is objectively inferior… and somehow he’ll probably convince you he’s right.

His dream date? A sunset stroll on the beach with a puppy, followed by a respectful debate over dinner.

One word of warning though—Salty has developed a habit of pulling up short. Whether it’s a race, a training session or a game, he has an uncanny ability to find an injury at the most convenient moment. Maybe he’s just waiting for someone special to drag him over the finish line.

You may, however, have some competition. Salty’s current wife is Dural Irrigation. She only demands one day a week, but she’s undoubtedly the love of his life.

So ladies, if you’re after a man who’ll challenge your opinions, dominate the dance floor, look surprisingly aerodynamic in Lycra, and keep you laughing every step of the way…

Justin ā€œSaltyā€ Sultana is ready to make his opening bid. 🌹

🌹 Bachelor #1 – Sebastian ā€œSebā€ Wall

Some men are red flags.

Sebastian Wall is more of a golden retriever wearing rugby boots.

Fresh-faced, impossibly wholesome, and somehow always looking like he just apologised to someone who bumped into him, Seb is the kind of bloke your mum hopes you bring home.

He’s a simple man with simple pleasures. Baby goats? Adorable. Chicken rolls with lettuce and mayo? Gourmet. Spending time with his mates? That’s his version of a five-star holiday.

Don’t mistake his quiet nature for a lack of confidence though. Beneath that innocent smile is a rugby player who’ll happily run straight at a defender, but still say ā€œthanks mateā€ after getting tackled.

His dislikes are equally straightforward. Queensland. Potheads. And that inexplicable musty smell that somehow appears in every rugby change room by half-time.

Seb won’t serenade you from a balcony or arrive in a Ferrari. He’ll probably show up five minutes early, ask how your day’s been, offer you half his chicken roll, and somehow win over your entire family before dessert.

So ladies, if you’ve had enough of mysterious bad boys and walking red flags, maybe it’s time to try the bloke who’s green flags all the way down.

Because while everyone else is trying to play hard to get…

Seb’s just trying to find somewhere that sells a decent chicken roll. šŸŒ¹šŸ‰
