Probably "ONE" off the worst kept industry secrets in a long time, but it's now official and it's looking pretty damb hot. We are waiting on a few bikes currently for the shop that are already pre sold however there is more stock due next year. Never seems like there is enough time in the day, however we are always SEARCHING for the next thing. It might be working with the local community and schools or running junior coaching sessions with the Cape Mountain Bikers. To be able to coach the next generation of riders into a life long journey into the sport. Working with event organizer's to help everyone have a great experience when they visit the region including WA Gravity Enduro, XTERRA, Rapid Ascent, Perth Mtb Club state XCO, Dunsborough And Districts Country Club, EventMatrix, Cape to Cape MTB. This project was especially fun working with industry partner Merida Bikes Australia, and local Finn Reilly for video and photo contributions. Important information below in relation to a shimano recall on certain road cranksets. We are certified to inspect your cranks, give the store a call to book in your free inspection.

Shimano Australia Cycling (“Shimano”), is currently offering an inspection and replacement program of selected bonded 11‐speed HOLLOWTECH II road cranksets produced between June 1, 2012, up to and including June 30, 2019, for a possible bonding separation issue.
This specifically concerns the Shimano ULTEGRA FC‐6800, DURA‐ACE FC‐9000, ULTEGRA FC‐R8000, DURA‐ACE FC‐R9100 and FC‐R9100‐P 11‐Speed Bonded HOLLOWTECH II Road Cranksets in Australia. Reports received by Shimano indicate that the bonded parts of the crank arm could separate and break, posing potential fall and crash hazards to consumers.
To remedy this situation, Shimano will have any applicable crankset inspected. Shimano will replace any crank arm that fails the inspection process.
This inspection is designed to determine whether the crank arms show a possible bonding separation issue and to swiftly remove any possible safety hazard to our consumers. Not all ULTEGRA and DURA‐ACE cranksets need to be inspected. Only cranksets produced between June 1, 2012, up to and including June 30, 2019, need to be inspected.
Shimano will replace any cranksets that fail the inspection process free of charge.
