APPALACHIAN TRAIL FEST | ALABAMA | OCT 31

How are you spending your Halloween? You’ll find us out in Oak Mountain State Park, eating up miles and doing it the trail run way. A few Witches’ Brew stations and Appalachian cryptids along the way to keep it festive, and all the trail you could ask for to keep it adventurous.

• 26.2K Trail Marathon:
The double mullet. All the business and party of the Trail Half, served up in double portions. Two loops complete the run, with division leaders earning their right to line up at the 2027 Trail Run World Champs in Gozo.

• 13.1K Trail Half Marathon:
Business in the front, party in the back. The mullet trail takes runners on a rollercoaster journey through Oak Mountain State Park, starting with a fast, well-groomed section before an uphill scramble to Peavine Falls and a flying finish. Top division runners bag a slot to the 2027 Trail Run World Champs.

• 10K Trail Run:
A high-energy showdown built for speed, strength, and pure autumn adventure. Expect rolling climbs, fast singletrack, and technical sections mixed with Witches’ Brew aid stations, Trunk-or-Treat surprises, and a few Appalachian cryptids cheering you on.

• 5K Halloween Hike
Bring the kids, invite the grandparents, and show up in costume. Safe, festive, and built for families who want to celebrate Halloween outdoors together.

Not your average Halloween party, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Where the sun sets on the 2026 season. One final run for the year, and one last epic stage to do it.

Built for our growing community in China and those traveling from afar, Taihu gives the trail run crew a proper end-of-year send-off with a wide lineup of distances to ensure everyone closes out 2026 with their perfect race.

The 55K Marathon and 35K Half serve up a challenging run and a full tour of the terrain, while the 20K and 12K are tailored for the middle-distance and speed crew. For families and young runners, the 8K and 5K offer the perfect entry point, giving parents the chance to pass on their passion and introduce the next generation to the trails alongside one of the most welcoming communities on the planet.
