Starting with the rising sun and finishing with a new set of champions. In 2 months we head to the oceanside trails of Costa Rica for the 2026 Americas Trail Run Championship. 972 meters of elevation for those taking on the Trail Marathon and 654 for those taking on the Half. A course that is balanced and intense, but guarantees smiles at the finish. Open to all runners and an official qualifier for the World Champs in Gozo 2027. At the Trail Run World Championship, we had the honour of awarding Ryan Saliba Gazzano with the second-ever Community Ambassador award for reasons too long to list here. What he brought to the event is one thing, but his influence and infectious energy in the local community of Malta is what really resonated. Few views quite like the ones up here. The kind that make your legs cry but you can't keep the smile off your face. If you know the feeling, XTERRA Skyrace Comapedrosa is bringing a full festival of it to the ridgelines of Arinsal, Andorra, on the last weekend of July. We've got super short races for the little ones, Half and Full Marathons for those chasing peaks and World Champs slots, and the 8K vertical race with a finish line at an altitude of 2,953m for those keen to take the shortest route to the roof of the Pyrenees. To the Euro trail run crew, save this date. On October 17, Kurort Oybin in Germany, the small mountain range with a massive reputation, will be the stage for the 2026 European Trail Run Championship.

The XTERRA O-SEE Ultra Trail has been built from the ground up over many years by a community that lives and breathes running trails. The terrain is world-class, linking dense singletrack, sandstone climbs, and volcanic rock in a roller coaster of elevation. Every ingredient of a championship race is there, and this October it will decide Europe's best across every division in the Trail Half and Full Marathons.

This September we're breaking desert stereotypes with a new trail and a new purpose in Alxa, Inner Mongolia. Yes, it will be hot, and yes, there will be dunes. But we'll also run through woodlands, riverbanks, and grasslands. We'll pass mirage-like lakes, and cut through farmland.

Since 2020, we've been supporting the China Green Foundation’s Million Forest Program to show that no land is barren forever. Now we're ready to head back with the trail run community for a run like no other on the calendar. 50K, 30K, 15K. Come ready for a shift in perspective. Link in comments to get started.
