💙⚽ WHAT A WEEKEND! ⚽💙

What a way to finish the league season!

A huge thank you to our entire DTFC community for coming down to celebrate our league winners and for joining us on the sidelines across all our matches for the final round of the season.

We’re not quite done yet — Cup Finals are still to come next weekend! 🏆

But for now, it’s time to celebrate what has been a fantastic year for our club and our 2026 League Champions:

🏆 U14 Glory — Undefeated League Champions
🏆 U17 Jets — Undefeated League Champions
🏆 Men’s Reserves — League Champions, clinching the title in the final match of the season today!

An incredible achievement from all three teams. 💙

And amongst the celebrations, there were a few pretty special moments worth recognising…

👬 BROTHERS & CHAMPIONS

Joe & Harry Gould and Joel & Caleb Peterson — two sets of brothers and two undefeated league titles. What a special achievement to share!

🏆 THE WEEKEND DOUBLE

A massive congratulations to our U17 boys Mason Penter, Max Woosnam and Maddox Dragstra, who celebrated league titles with both the U17 Jets and Men’s Reserves this weekend. What an incredible weekend!

💙 THE END OF A JUNIOR CHAPTER

Finally, this weekend marked the final league match as junior players for a very special group of young men — many of whom began their football journey with DTFC all the way back in U6s:

⚽ SUMMER FOOTBALL IS COMING! ☀️

We’re excited to launch our 7-week Summer Football competition, kicking off Wednesday 4 November.

Played on Wednesday evenings, the competition will be a fast-paced 5v5 format and open to players aged 13 through to seniors.

We are planning two divisions to cater for different ages and levels of competition.

Competition details:

• 7 weeks commencing 4 November
• Wednesday evenings
• 5v5 format
• Ages 13 to seniors
• Two divisions

It all comes down to the final round of the league season tomorrow as our four senior teams take on Dalyellup Park Rangers at Dunsborough Playing Fields.

And there’s plenty on the line… can our Men’s Reserves finish the job and claim the league title? 🏆🔥

⚽2026 LEAGUE CHAMPS!

DUNSBOROUGH Town Football Club’s U14 Glory have capped a standout season by being crowned 2026 Leeuwin Region League Champions.

The young side secured the title after a season built on consistency, teamwork and commitment, with the club praising the squad’s development both on and off the field.

Coach James Cross said he was “absolutely over the moon and proud of the squad and the professionalism they have brought to the game throughout the season”.

He also thanked the players’ families for their support across training sessions, home games and away fixtures, often in difficult weather.

The club said the season had highlighted the value of team sport, with the players growing together through shared effort, trust and respect.

Over time, the U14 Glory squad has developed not only as footballers, but as teammates and friends, building a strong team culture that helped drive their championship campaign.

Club president Tash Blefari said the season was not quite finished, with the team still preparing for the Cup Final.

“We are not finished yet,” she said.

“They’ve already completed a brilliant season, but there could be another high to come in the final on 19 September at Hay Park, Bunbury.”

The club also thanked its sponsors for their ongoing support of junior football and the opportunities they help provide for young players to train, compete and develop.

The Leeuwin Region League title marks another major achievement for Dunsborough Town Football Club, with U14 Glory now turning its attention to one final challenge.

🏆💙 CELEBRATING OUR LEAGUE CHAMPIONS | U14 GLORY & U17 JETS 💙🏆

This Saturday, we’re bringing the DTFC community together to celebrate two incredible seasons from our U14 Glory and U17 Jets – Football South West League Champions! ⚽️

Come down, wear your blue and help us give both teams the recognition they deserve as they take the field for their final league matches of the season.

⏰ 8:20am – Club players & families form a Guard of Honour for U14 Glory

⚽ 8:30am – U14 Glory v Vasse Pythons

🏆 10:00am – Football South West Awards Ceremony
League Winners – U14 Glory & U17 Jets

⏰ 11:20am – Club players & families form a Guard of Honour for U17 Jets

⚽ 11:30am – U17 Jets v Australind Tigers

For some of our U17 players, this will also mark their final league match as a junior player, making it an extra-special occasion for the players, families and club who have shared their football journey.

Both teams have played some outstanding football throughout the season and are certain to put on another quality showcase in their final matches.

Come down, support our players and celebrate two fantastic achievements for DTFC.

A huge congratulations to our U14 Glory, officially crowned 2026 Leeuwin Region League Champions! 🏆⚽️

What a fantastic season from this group. Their commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the year have earned them a very well-deserved league title.

A huge thank you to James Cross for his leadership, commitment and guidance throughout the season, and to all our wonderful parents and families for their incredible support every week. 💙

It’s game day for our senior squads as we head to Barnard Park, Busselton to take on Geographe Bay FC!

And with today being Father’s Day, we’d like to give a special shout-out to all the DTFC dads, grandads and father figures who are such a big part of our football community.

Whether you’re coaching, volunteering, driving to training, cheering from the sidelines or simply being there week after week — thank you for everything you do to support our players and our club. 💙

We hope all our football dads enjoy their special day — hopefully with some great football and a few Dunsy wins to celebrate!
