We’re off and running with the first week of the 5am Game Changers group in the books and I couldn’t be more stoked.

I can already feel the power of a group - the ‘mastermind’ coming together with shared goals and vision. We’ve already had great quality conversations and ideas which is super inspiring!

The mastermind principle is something I learned through Napoleon Hills book “think and grow rich” whereby the collective thoughts of a group creates an amplified focus and driving force.

Finding like minded people and curating your environment I’ve found to be so powerful. I’d encourage you to spend time creating the environment of people that you aspire to be like too.

Pumped to see where and how this group continues to grow!

One of the most important things I’ve recognised in the last 5 years is that we’re all born with creative imagination.

Creativity just takes many different forms.

This is something we’re passionate about instilling in our kids - that they’re capable of creating whatever they hold in their imagination.

And like anything the more we flex our creative muscle, the stronger and more powerful it becomes.

I think this is so important, especially with the technology around us, that we maintain our ability for critical and creative thinking.

Of course technology isn’t slowing down, but I want my kids (& everyone!) to become their own creators in a world full of consumption.

Happy Good Friday! I’m sitting here drinking my iced long black thinking…

How can I actually help someone move forward with their health right now?

And this is what I came up with.

I want to help you improve your health and raise your physical standard.

I’m in the business of physical transformations. I’ve coached hundreds of clients and am proud to have been a part of some incredible physical and mental transformations.

I want to help as many people build strength, energy, confidence, and capacity that actually carries into your life.

Because honestly it’s painful to see people struggling or limited with their physical capacity. Which impacts their mental health and wellbeing. My goal is to see everyone shine their star as bright as possible.

In my experience most people aren’t lacking information either. They lack a clear plan. That’s what I want to help you with.

It’s painful to witness when someone loses trust in their own body to move, and is then limited in daily life.

And frankly it doesn’t just affect the individual, it affects those around them.

As a Dad, this is not an option for me. Or certainly not from a lack of effort and focus on my part!

Being able to move is a privilege. Mobility and end range training improves joint health, range of motion and reduces injury by strengthening muscles at their lowest and shortest positions.

It improves athleticism, movement quality, stability and alleviates pain by allowing the body to handle loads which is crucial for longevity and preventing injuries.

But on top of all of that, you’ll have more confidence in your own capabilities, which will have a flow on effect as to how you show up for life.

Our first international family holiday. It’s taken this week to put it into words but what a special time it is travelling with your kids. Not without a couple of rollercoasters of emotions but we’re home with very full cups and an even closer bond to each other. Like literally the kids are now attached to Mums hip 🫠

Special thanks to the .club for creating such an epic family space where we were able to connect and be inspired by some incredible people from around the world!

A common pattern I’ve found, especially with dads, is that when they shift their focus from being about them and instead to their family - they’ll move mountains.

If it was just for themselves however their motivation can waiver.

I see clients light up when they recognise that the work they’re doing is for their loved ones. They realise it’s about setting the example. Becoming the leader. Setting the tone.

And this I’ve found can really help get out of our own way. Motivation will only last so long, but the love for our family and friends is an extremely powerful force.

If tomorrow was my first day as a Dad, here’s what I’d tell myself.

Most advice for Dad’s assumes you lack discipline. But most dads don’t lack discipline - they lack capacity. And capacity is having the energy and bandwidth to follow through with your plan.

And I can certainly relate to this one. If we don’t fix capacity first, then nothing sticks. Our jar is constantly overflowing and it’s so easy to be in ‘reactive mode.’

In my experience this is where schedule and routine has helped massively. If it’s not in the calendar we’re leaving it out to chance!

I’ve found it starts with the morning. Get this dialled in and tick off your key non-negotiables actions. Same time, same place. Reduce the mental load and ‘decision fatigue’ so that you can run these on autopilot. Training, nutrition, mindfulness. Lock them in.

These are your personal ‘rocks’ that you build the day around. You fill your jar with these first so that you can then fill in around these.

If we let our day get away from us, suddenly our jar is full of ‘sand’ i.e. being busy - but busy is rarely effective. There’s also no room for the key actions that push us in the direction of who we want to become.

Let’s be honest ‘Dad life’ has a sh*tload of ‘sand’ and our jars can only hold so much! And it’s not about doing more, but creating space for the big ticket items that will move the needle!
