We are deeply saddened at LDCC to hear of the passing of Darren Freemantle. He was a loved member of the community and well known. His involvement in both the Dunolly FNC and LDCC is well recognised, Both of Darren’s daughters have been playing their junior cricket with us. Everyone at LDCC sends our condolences to the Freemantle family. We send our wishes during this difficult time.

GRAND FINAL DAY!!

Best of luck to our A grade boys who take on Colts Phelans Cricket Club in the grand final. We know it’s going to be a great game. We would love to see as much support at princes park as we can over the next few days as we look to finish off the season with some silverware.

The game starts at 12:30 today and tomorrow. We know they will do the club proud. 💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛

MDCA presentation night

As we edge closer to the big dance. The league held the Ken Gibbs medal last night. Terrific seasons from our players have resulted in fantastic representation and recognition.

First of all congratulations to Ralph Williams, the cornerstone of our club and current president. He was awarded with a MDCA life membership. His contribution to the league and to LDCC has spanned across 50 years. Very well deserved Ralph 👏💛💙

Congrats to the following who were also recognised for their fantastic seasons.

Sam Bartlett: league batting average. Country week Div 2 champion player. Team of the year (C).

We’re through!!!

After being put under pressure early at 3/19. The ever reliable Sam Bartlett and Josh Fitz were able to steady the ship and see us home with an unbelievable partnership to put us through to the grand final next week. 70 for Fitz and 62 for Barty in what was 2 fantastic knocks under pressure. Even more impressive we were able to chase it down in under 40 overs!

We now turn to our preparation for the grand final! Get down to princes park this weekend in full support.

All to play for on day 2 as we need 158 to get us into the final! After winning the toss and electing to bowl Amar Ullah and Joe Lovel led the way with the ball. Along with Alex Cook with figures of 2/34.

Massive thank you to the Maryborough Highland Society for their ongoing support!

💚 Tonight was all about giving back. 💚
We were proud to give away $36,600 to 9 local sporting clubs through our Team Rewards Program tonight.
This program exists to recognise the incredible work our local volunteers, players, coaches and supporters do week in and week out. Seeing those funds go straight back into grassroots sport and community activity is what it’s all about.
Thank you to every club who partners with us — your impact on our town is enormous. 👏

SEMI FINAL

It’s semi final time at Dunolly! Make sure to get down and support the boys as we look to put ourselves into the big dance. The game will be played this Saturday and Sunday with a spot in the final all to play for.
