We are thrilled to announce that Brad Whittaker has been reappointed as our Senior Football Coach for the 2027 season.

While our immediate focus remains firmly on the current season, it’s fantastic to have Brad locked in for another year.

Brad’s passion, leadership and commitment to the Dunnstown FNC continues to drive our program forward and we’re excited to have him leading the group again next season.

Thanks Whitts, we’re stoked to be continuing this journey with you!

Congratulations to Hamish Lloyd, Jack Lenaghan, Oscar Britt, Jack Nunn & Joe Bunnage who represented the CHFL in yesterday’s Interleague at Buninyong 🌟

We returned from our trip to rainy Skipton with 3/5 Football wins and 5/8 Netball wins!

Our Under 12 Footballers kept their opposition scoreless to win by 53 points. Liam Gleeson led the way with four goals to take his season tally to 22, pretty impressive from eight games of footy! Our Under 15s battled hard against an impressive Skipton outfit but went down by 98 points. Skipton also had our measure in the Under 18s, defeating us by 57 points.

Our Reserves produced another complete team performance to win by 109 points. To keep the opposition goalless while posting a score of 108 in those conditions was a mighty effort. Kirby Neville kicked five majors.

Our Seniors are also starting to find some really impressive form, with all 22 players playing their role in our 33 point win. Trav Parsons had a day out kicking five goals. It was also great to see Aussie Murphy return for his first senior game in 427 days following a tough run with hamstring injuries! Let’s keep the momentum rolling now boys.

In the Netball, our 13Bs started the day on a positive note with a two goal win. Our 13As are still chasing that elusive first win however their effort and endeavour cannot be faulted. Our U15s recorded a solid 11 goal win which has them sitting nicely in fifth spot on the ladder. Our Under 17s won their fourth game in a row by just two goals. It seems these girls like to keep everyone on the edge of their seat!

In the Senior grades we started strongly with D Grade winning by eight goals and C Grade having a very impressive 29 goal win. Our new look C Grade team has gelled together beautifully, dropping just one game so far and sitting in third spot on the ladder. B Grade were beaten 30-19, while A Grade went down 39-33. It was fantastic to see Tayla Banham make her long awaited Dunnstown debut after a pre-season injury kept her sidelined for the first half of the year.

Good luck to Joe, Jack, Oscar, Jack and Hamish in today’s interleague games at Buninyong! Get along and cheer our boys on if you can. 🤝

We extend our sincere condolences to the Breen family and the entire Carngham Linton Football Netball Club community following the tragic loss of Cody over the weekend.

This heartbreaking loss will be felt by many within our own club, particularly some of our Under 18 players who attended school with Cody and were fortunate to call him a friend.

Our thoughts are with Cody’s family, friends, teammates and everyone at Carngham Linton FNC during this incredibly difficult time.
