The Dunkeld Bowling Club would like to offer their condolences to Sue and the family and friends of Chris Young on his sudden passing.
Y***o was a brilliant bowler but above all a genuinely lovely person.
We will miss his humour and friendship both on and off the green. We will also miss seeing that yellow hat.

Saturday Dunkeld held their annual Iven Field Memorial Day.
16 teams battled it out over 4 sections with 4 teams progressing to finals.
After the semis we had 2 teams left.
The team of Geoff Hinchcliffe, Tony Jackson and Graeme Solly were the winners over Chris Young, Grant Seary and Clayton Holcombe.
Thanks to the major sponsors, The Field family, Taylor Toyota and Hyundai and Fox Refrigeration.
Also many thanks to the volunteers that prepared lunch, did the bar and raffle and helped throughout the day. See you all again next year😊

Congratulations to Tony Jackson who got up over Geoff (Sid) Hinchcliffe in the 21up final.
It was a cracking game with a great comeback from Geoff but Tony got off to a good start and held on for the win.
Well done to both players on making the final and congratulations to Tony for the win😊

A great day was had at the Dunkeld bowling club today for our annual fours tournament. All rinks were full on a beautiful day under the mountains. Teams coming from local regions and as far away as melbourne and Geelong. It came down to two teams who played off in the final. Lake Bolac and Warrnambool city. Lake Bolac taking the honours. Well done to all teams for taking part in a great day!

Happy Easter everyone! We hope the Easter Bunny was kind to you all🐣🐇🍫
Today at 3pm Darren “Cat” Gordon and George “Fitzy” Fitzpatrick will play off in the 100up final.
The bar will be open and all are welcome to come down, have a beverage or 2 and watch a high quality game of bowls🍺
