A quick note to advise that we are currently in the process of building new concrete paths around the course.

If you are heading out for a hit today, please expect some disruption whilst the works are in progress.

Sunday 2nd August 2026 - Course Closed for event ⛳️

Greetings golfers!

A quick update to advise the course will be CLOSED FOR SOCIAL PLAY on Sunday until 2pm.

The club is hosting the Hunter River District Golf Association (HRDGA) - Mixed Ambrose Championships 🏆

Dungog Golf Club would like to welcome all guests to the premier course in the district, and wish everyone the best of luck! 😁

The Sunday chook run comp will return to normal operations next Sunday - 9th August 2026. 🐓

Friday 24th July 2026 - Updates

Greetings golfers!

A quick update to advise the course will be closed to social players until midday tomorrow (Saturday 25th). Welcome to all those entrants playing in the City Coast & Country Cup and best of luck!

For those playing the Saturday comp, please tee off prior to 8am to accommodate 🙏

Sunday 26th July - the chook run is back on as per normal with a 9-hole tee off from 10am ⛳️

Monday 13th July 2026 - Course OPEN

Howdy Golfers!

The breezy days and no rain has resulted in the course being back open for play!

Usual rules apply regarding the use of carts:
⛳️ Stay clear of the 4th fairway & green,
⛳️ Avoid low spots & gullies, and
🙏 Please treat the course with respect.

Normal weekly competitions will resume with the Vets on Thursday and an Open Saturday comp (Single Stableford).

Sunday will see the Doug Walters Classic on again for 2026! This is 9 hole, 4 Person Ambrose event followed by a sausage sizzle. This event is open to both members and non-members so get your names down and have some fun. Registrations start from 9.00am for 10.00am shotgun start. Get amongst it!

Saturday 11th July 2026 - Course remains CLOSED 🚫

Greetings folks!

Just a quick one to advise the course remains CLOSED for all play due to the wet conditions ☹️

We were hoping to get some better news and have a hit tomorrow, but unfortunately not the case.

Keep an eye out on Facebook for updates when we’ll be open again - hopefully soon! ⛳️

Tuesday 7th July 2026 - Course Closed

Greetings golfers!

The rain has continued to fall, and as much as we need it for the dams, the fairways and greens have had enough ☔️

The course is currently too wet and is CLOSED to all play. We apologise for any inconvenience and will advise when things dry out a touch!
