Pony Club Australia Nationals update✨

Matilda and Shea have completed the classroom phase of the Quiz and the running phase of Tetrathlon for team Pony Club NSW! 💙🩵

And that’s a wrap on our 2025 camp!! 🎉

We ended camp with a Funkana, which included jumping equitation, utility, archery & sporting.

Thank you to our amazing judges today- Hillary Hicks, Simone Monaghan and Clare Collett, who along with the awesome parent volunteers on rotations, and the group leaders, made sure our riders could have a fabulous last day, doing what they love!

Congratulations to all our riders-the way you conducted yourselves, your manners, willingness to try new disciplines and the progress you made- you should all be so very proud of yourselves!

Watching the growth of each and every one of you from start to finish, the friendships formed and memories made, reminded us all of our ‘why’ and the reason we do what we do.

To each and every instructor who gave their time over the duration of camp, a HUGE thank you! It is you who sprinkles your magic, which makes camp come to life. Our riders were so incredibly lucky to have experienced the varied, collective wealth of knowledge from each of you.

To everyone who helped in the lead up to and stepped in over the duration of camp to help, we are so very grateful. We are a small club and your assistance did not go unnoticed. Thank you!

Have a safe and restful remainder of the school holidays and give those superstar ponies an extra big hug tonight! 🐴

Camp Day #3! Do we have some tired kids and horses after another fantastic day!

Again, we cannot thank our amazing instructors enough! Camp enables our riders to explore a wide variety of disciplines, under the instruction of some incredibly knowledgeable and experienced instructors.

Today’s lessons consisted of:
🐴Archery with Simone
🐴Horse husbandry (equine veterinary care and dental) with Dr. Ali
🐴Rider fit with Liv
🐴Showjumping with Linny
🐴Team Penning with Jess, Kim, Garry, Mark & Rachael
🐴Troopdrill with Bruce

We finished the day with a movie night, watching a classic- The Silver Brumby!

As the 2025 Pony Club Australia Ranvet PCA National Championships begin, we would like to wish two of our members- Matilda Beynon & Shea Egan, the best of luck as they represent team Pony Club NSW at Werribee!

Matilda will be competing in the Sub-Junior female Tetrathlon team, Shea in the Sub-Junior male Tetrathlon team and the Formal Gymkana, and both in the Sub-Junior Quiz team.

We are so proud of you both- enjoy this incredible experience, soak it all in and we will be cheering you both on from back home, in NSW!! We look forward to hearing all about it 💙🐴💙

Day #2 has been absolutely fabulous!!
Another wonderful day of learning, trying new disciplines and making memories. ❤️

Every rider came away from their lessons today with massive smiles and new skills learnt. 🐴🤩

We finished our day with a Kahoot quiz night to test our riders knowledge on all things equestrian. Congratulations to all our quiz masters!

We are looking forward to another jam packed day tomorrow!

Tell us it’s Pony Club Camp time, without telling us! 🐴 A HUGE thank you to those members who helped unload this today; all 100 something bags and a truck load of loose shavings which was shoveled where needed-that’s our workout for the month done!! 🏋️‍♀️

Shout out to DGDGW Wood Productsho have made sure our 4-legged family members will be well taken care of and comfortable for camp. Planning & organisation is well underway!

Dungog Pony Club is taking Expressions of Interest for garden mulch/manure collection at the beginning of October, from the Dungog Showground.

We are running a camp during the October school holidays and will have ample mulch available for your gardens!

The mulch will consist of horse manure and wood shavings. 🪴🌱🪏

Leave your trailer at a pre-organised time with us, before camp begins. We will fill it up for you, and you can then come and collect at the end of camp!
