Phoenix Gymnastics is the culmination of a dream by two women who knew that there was a way forward for Gymnastics and for themselves. The dream was to create a Gymnastics Club where everyone is respected, feels safe, are supported to learn gymnastics and other movement based programs, and to positively develop from their experiences there. ✨Sunshine Classic Competition✨

A fantastic second competition for our juniors at Sunshine Coast Gymnastics Academy. We are very proud of the hard work, determination and wonderful routines from all our gymnasts. A special mention to Eleanor for winning the Little Miss Sunshine award and to Ravnoor and Willow for successfully passing their levels!

What an amazing start to the comp season for our junior gymnasts at the Wide Bay Gymnastics Club Invitational! Even though there were many nerves in the lead up to this first comp, these girls gave it their all and we are incredibly proud of their efforts and achievements.

Results:
Level 3:
🔸Emma - 1st Vault, 3rd Beam, 4th Floor, 3rd Overall
🔸Eleanor - 6th Floor

This Saturday (30th of May), our junior gymnasts will be competing at the Wide Bay Gymnastics Club competition. These young gymnasts have been training hard to be ready for the first comp of the season and for some, this will be their first time competing! As this competition is right here in Hervey Bay, this is a wonderful opportunity for all of our members to see our juniors amazing routines and show them your support 🧡🖤.

We will have gymnasts competing in the following sessions:
🔸 Session 1 (Level 3, Level 4 Opens) from 9:00am - 11:30am
🔸 Session 3 (Level 5, Level 6) from 4:00pm - 6:30pm

Our Senior gymnasts had a HUGE weekend competing at the SEQ Regional Competition. This was the very first time our club has competed at Senior Regionals and was a first for our new Level 7s too. Thank you to Gold Coast Gymnastics for hosting such a great comp 😊.

All of our senior gymnasts performed outstanding routines and we couldn’t be prouder 🥰! A special mention goes to Charlotte for placing 2nd on beam 👏.

Welcome to Term 2 👋! We hope you enjoyed your Easter holidays and are ready to get back into gymnastics 🤸‍♂️!

If you haven’t already looked at our Term 2 timetable, we have made a class change on Wednesday. Due to popular demand we have put a Junior Steps class on Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 instead of our Phoenix GymSports. There aren’t many in this new class yet but don’t wait too long because they fill up FAST💨!
