This week begins the start of our Series 3, Phase 8. This phase is our ‘Build’ Phase focusing on sharpening the time domains to short intervals, introducing a high level of explosiveness. You will build on the Push movements, and enhance functional strength promote joint stability, improve muscle coordination, and support overall structural integrity. 

You will notice Trials look a little different this Phase, with trial days spread out between your already favourite circuits over a two week period. Stages 1 to 7 look a little like this-

Stage 1 takes your classic F45 HIIT session but adds a twist. Prepare to challenge your fitness in Pod 2 and get a headstart on the leaderboard.

Stage 2 is all about testing raw strength. Build up to achieve your max weight for the main performance lifts.

In Stage 3 put your strength endurance to the test. How long can you last with these body shaking holds and how many reps can you complete in the time given.

Stage 4 will test your mental strength. Can you do 1000 reps in 45 minutes? You choose how you work through each pod to reach your reps in time.

Stage 5 is all about testing raw strength. Build up to achieve your max weight for the main performance lifts.

How far can you go in our Stage 6 knock-out? Hang on as long as possible as we turn up the heat each round.

Stage 7 finishes Trials in an epic studio challenge! Your entire class will unite to boost the studio score. Rally together and give it your all for ultimate studio glory.

NEW WEEK | NEW PHASE | NEW WORKOUT

We are heading full speed into Phase 5 of May 🔥 With another week of WAHLBERG WEEK on the horizon!! ❤️‍🔥

This phase is our build phase, focusing on building cardio endurance through a variety of time domains, to challenge all three energy systems and develop tolerance. We will also focus on mastering pull lifts by increasing the range of motion, improving technique, and training at a higher volume to develop movement patterns!!

Mondays - Marathon, endurance is the name of the game in this workout, so get ready to find your zone with bikes, rowers and F45’s longest-ever working sets for a truly challenging cardio sesh do.

Tuesdays - Red Diamond, a unique blend of two of F45 Training’s most successful resistance- based workouts with a grueling timing system. Four sets on each station will work your muscles to overload in this full-body strength sesh.

Wednesdays - Varsity, the ultimate cardiovascular test with varying timings and sets on each lap to challenge your aerobic threshold.

Thursdays - Dueces, a split-resistance workout where members can choose which workout they do: upper or lower body. Choose wisely, both will ignite a fire within.

Fridays - Tempest, a cardio-based workout featuring all of our concept 2 equipment. Bikes, Rowers, Ski Ergs
Work as a team to complete the
targets on the screens.

Saturdays - West Hollywood, a super-circuit hybrid session and the sister to Hollywood. With a slight change to the timing system and exercise selections, West Hollywood will test even the hardest F45 members.

The theme is open to interpretation. We’re thinking dancers 💃, cheerleaders 📣, PRIDE 🏳️‍🌈, ABBA 🪩, colour 🌈, tutus 🩰 and FUN 🤩
🏆 There will be two best dressed prizes up for grabs!

What to expect-
🏁 Not one, but TWO 45 minute Piston resistance sessions.
🍳 A Brunch BBQ.
🎟️ Raffles and lucky door prizes to be won.

Entry will be $15 with all funds going straight to Jase and Sheridans cause to support Cancer Council NSW 🙏🏽

Q&A

What do you love the most about F45?
From the day I started I have loved everything about F45, except burpees in the warm up (that’s just unnatural). I love the awesome vibe, definitely the trainers, but I think the thing I love the most is how F45 Dubbo is so inclusive, it doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, how fit you are or how old you are - everyone is made to feel welcome and the classes are for all fitness levels.
And i love Jed - he looks a bit scary, but he is definitely one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met.

What is your favourite F45 circuit?
I love all the cardio classes (except the rower and the ropes), especially at the 45 minute mark lol. And i love the class with the split upper body/lower body. With dodgy knees, I always choose upper.

When did you start?
I am proud to say I’m an OG. I’ve been coming since the day the doors opened and am almost at 1000 classes.

How has F45 helped you the most on your fitness journey?
F45 keeps me accountable, I love that if you’re booked into a class you have to go otherwise another member misses out. The trainers are awesome, not in your face, but gentle guidance when needed. I’ve done the 8 week challenge a few times, which I loved, not just the training but also the meal plans and recipes which made it so much easier.

What are you hobbies outside of F45?
So I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, I’m not much into yoga, I am into champagne …. but seriously I just love hanging out with friends and family, my hubby and kids are my world. With 2 of our kids now in Newcastle we often visit and I’ve been loving some time at the beach over summer. I have my sights set on becoming a boogy boarding champion!! 😂
