The 2025 NSW Kart Championships at the Dubbo Kart Club was a thrilling opportunity to push the limits of the FA Kart Republic Chassis.

Thanks to the invaluable support from Beck and Shayne for giving me the opportunity at one of the biggest race meetings that I’ve raced in at Lincoln County Raceway.

The weekend saw a talented field of 36 KA3 Senior racers, State and National Champion karters from all over the country. I was able to showcase top 10 pace in practice, securing P12 for the pre- qualifying grid.
Small and Strategic tweaks paid off, landing me a front-row start Qualifying in P2.

The Heat races were tough, and the racing was challenging. Had solid results in Race 1 n 2. Heat 3 was a different story, being used as connon ball into turn one, dropping me back to last. Drove back to the rear of the field and started the journey of making some valuable positions back. Finished P24.

Another chaotic start in the Final,
Turn one chaos, pushing and shoving from behind. This causing karts to scramble to avoide a big crash.
I climbed from P20 to finish in P8 and demonstrating the pace to challenge the front runners.

Huge thanks to;
SR Race Engines for a solid donk, Shayne Piper and Beck Connell for the use of the Chassis, ASR - Andrew Starkey Racing for the team support and all our family members, friends and supporters for their ongoing encouragement to achieve good results.

Congratulations to the Dubbo Kart Club for hosting the event, thanks to all the Officials, Volunteers and Club Members for making this possible for everyone in the karting community. Big Thumb Up to the photographers for capturing moments through the lens, πŸ‘

Over the weekend, I resumed competing in Kart-17 and participated in the 2025 Maxxis Gold Cup following a lengthy hiatus due to an ankle injury.

This marked my first race since round two of the AKC in SA. The KA3 Senior field was highly competitive, featuring talented drivers from across the country, who were utilizing this event as a warm-up for the State Titles in September.

🟒 Qually under Lights in position P5 🀘🏼. πŸ”΅ 12 lap Heat 1, finished P4.
πŸ”΅ 12 lap Heat 2, finished P8.
πŸ”΅ 12 lap Heat 3, finished P6.
πŸ”΅ 20 lap Final, finishing P7.

The results were satisfactory considering the time spent away from karting. I would like to extend my gratitude to all our supporters who have assisted us in getting to this point.

🟒 Thanks to Shayne Piper Race Engines for checking in with us and going through the race process of keeping me competitive. ASR - Andrew Starkey Racing for another enjoyable weekend at the track, and under the tent. Stephen Roffe who’s always cheering me on and HR Racing for the Race Signals on track πŸ‘πŸ€™πŸ»πŸ€˜πŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ‘‰πŸ»πŸ’ͺ

Eyes forward now to the final round of the AKC Championship in Coffs Harbour. Hopefully we can get a good result, and race at the front in the Birelart Red Rocket

Unfortunately I won’t be racing the No.17 this weekend at my home track, but I wish Cooper Clavell Racing 63 the best of luck.

Cooper loves the Dubbo track and can’t wait to unleash the Fast63 on Lincoln County Raceway

Eyes forward to the following weekend where we will check in on the IPSWICH KART CLUB for round 4 of the National Championship. 🏁

Race Wrap from round one of the Australian Kart Championships hosted by Go Kart Club of Victoria, Todd Road.

This was my first race meeting for the 2025 season, and why not do it at the national series in a brand new S18 Birelart Chassis. ✊🏽

Qually P35, 7Tenths off the front pack. We definitely got some more work to do

Heat-1 didn’t go to plan, I was involved in an accident going into Dunny corner on the first lap. Got hit pretty hard from behind, I saved it from spinning only to be hit by another competitor that had no where to go. Suffered damage to the front end and steering, DNF .

Heats 2, 3 and 4, we managed to get some race laps in and made quite a few changes to the kart which helped, as i was able to progress forward from where we qualified.

In the Final, we made another slight change, and the kart was better again.
Finishing P25 across the line but suffered a drop down infringement which relegated me back to P29. I managed to punch out some very consistent laps and was half a second quicker than my qualifying time 😳. Happy with That

Overall better than I expected, in a tough competitive field of 40 Karts.

Eyes forward now, as round two is only 27 days away at Monarto in SA. Another new track for me to conquer ✊🏽

Big thanks to all who supported me get on the grid for 2025.

Race Wrap Up from the fourth round of the Australian Kart Championship hosted by Coffs Harbour Kart Club.

Practice started on Thursday with Rueben finding good pace early, Fridays schedule was full on, with a 20min practice session followed by a 6min practice then 6min Qually.

Rueben qualified P4 in Group and P26 overall from 43 Karters. We could’ve done better in qualifying but unfortunately was driven over the front of which impacted our first push lap.

Racing was tough and the first two heats were very competitive, finishing P13 and P12 respectively. Unfortunately in Heat 3 and Heat 4 we had a DNF, tripping over one accident on the first lap and the other was driven over again causing damage and had to retire the race. Both crashes involved minor damage to the kart.
With two reasonable results from the first two heats, Rueben made the cut for the final starting out of P35. Again on the first lap, Karters jostled for position and again he got minor damage to the Nassa panel which pushed up passed the steering wheel. This impacted his racing but still pushed on, finishing P29.

As always we would like to thank all of our supporters and sponsors who have been there for him. We definitely appreciate all your support:
