🙌 THANK YOU 🙌

Shout out to this crew of high school students plus a few adults who volunteered their time today refing at the NSW Touch Football Primary School Gala Day today.

There was over 110 teams from Dubbo and the surrounding regions including Mendooran, Cobar and Bourke. Great to see lots of kids trying touch for the first time, maybe scoring their first try and just generally having fun!

Thanks to our canteen team who were busy all day long. 👏

Upcoming referee course

We are holding an affiliate (level 1) referee course next week.

📅 Thursday 17 September at 6pm
📍 Dubbo Touch Clubhouse

👉No online component just one face-to-face session

Participants must be 12 years or turning 12 before end of the year to complete the course.

See steps below:

1. Create an account on https://learn.mysideline.com.au (Log in using MySideline details)

2. Once logged in, click on 'Course Finder' at the top of your screen

3. Click on 'Filter' then 'Category' then set 'Touch Football' as your filter

4. Find and click on the course titled 'Dubbo - Touch Football Australia: Affiliate Referee Course'

5. Before selecting the green enrol button, click on the 'Payment Link' tab located in the course description

6. Follow the steps to pay for the course ($38 - Dubbo Touch will reimburse you this fee after the course is completed)

7. Once complete, go back to the course page and select the green enrol button

The course usually takes 1.5-2hrs. Drop us a message if you have a question.

We're gearing up for our next competition so if you are keen to enter a team in the Westside Hotel Mixed or Men's Competition, now is the time before team nominations close 5pm, Sunday 13 September.

Summer Rego cost:
$138 per player (Fees inc TFA and NSW Touch membership).

Players are required to pay the NSW Touch and Touch Football Australia (TFA) membership $60 total. If you have registered for another competition since 1 July you won't pay this membership again for the year.

6:40pm - game 2 (20 mins)

Casual players are welcome in the spring competition. Just see Rick at the clubhouse if you want to be a casual player.

Please wear a shirt with a number on the back if possible to help refereeing.

This week sees the kick off of Women’s Premier Division. This is played as a double header after the Women’s Competition games.

Premier division will run across the next 3 weeks with each team having a bye. This is an opportunity for some of the top players in the women’s comp to go head to head and build their skills and fitness further.

Next Friday 11 September Dubbo is hosting the NSW Touch Primary School Gala Day with lots of local schools participating.

The club is running the canteen. If you are down at the fields watching and can spare 30 mins in the canteen between 11am and 1:30pm we’d love to hear from you.

Representative season is approaching for both junior and senior teams.

Dubbo Touch will be represented by 17 junior teams and 4 senior teams for the 2026/2027 season. The most teams we’ve ever fielded.
