The Bellarine Peninsula is bursting with basketball participation, but our beloved sport is being held back by a lack of court space. Team numbers are capped, 52 teams per week have a bye, and growth is being stifled.

As state elections approach, BPBA is meeting with politicians to highlight the urgent need for more sport facilities in the area.

We hosted our first ever women’s coaching workshop this weekend and we can’t thank our presenters, attendees and organisers enough for such a successful day!

A special thank you goes out to our guest speakers, Dr. Julia Walsh, Zoe Carr, and Cheryl Chambers, for their insight and leadership.

We are so excited to provide a space for new + aspiring female coaches to learn and grow.
