It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Peter Hommelhoff, founder of Hommy’s Quality Meats.

Peter was a long-time supporter and valued sponsor of our cricket club, and his generosity and community spirit have meant so much to everyone involved over the years. We are also incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from his son Matt and the team at Hommy’s Quality Meats.

On behalf of everyone at the club, we extend our heartfelt thoughts and condolences to Peter’s family and friends during this difficult time.

With our AGM now complete, the 2025/26 season has officially come to a close.

We’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every person who has been part of our incredible cricket club this season.

To our junior families — thank you for choosing Drysdale Cricket Club for your children. From getting the kids to training and game days, to all the little things in between, your support and commitment mean everything.

To our senior players and their families — thank you for the time, effort and dedication you’ve put into training, game days, and those great Thursday and Saturday night dinners that bring our club together.

To everyone who volunteered in any capacity this season — thank you. Your contribution never goes unnoticed and is vital to everything we do.

And to our committee — thank you for your tireless work behind the scenes to keep the club running strong.

The Drysdale Cricket Club extends its sincere condolences to Laurelle & Ray Stratton and the entire family on the passing of Doug Butcher.

Doug was a highly respected and long-time member of our club, and a proud Team of the Century player. His contribution, commitment, and passion for the club will be remembered for years to come.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
