We are a pace-setting umpiring association servicing various local leagues. We currently train from 6pm to 7pm Tuesday and Thursday (Mon & Wed during preseason).

UPDATE: The car park at Bellbird is open again. Please be aware that council parking officers do make rounds of Bellbird, so parking in the hockey field car park is a better option than parking on the grass and getting a ticket

Due to an incident with a garbage truck catching fire, parking at Bellbird Park tonight will be impacted. Fire trucks and clean up crews are in attendance. Please use the car park behind the basketball stadium or the hockey fields car park on Lampards Road

A big thanks to The Royal Hotel Drouin for hosting us for dinner last Thursday night. This season, our delicious Thursday night meals are being supplied by The Royal and we wanted to show our support by getting down for dinner.

As a community organisation, we make every effort to support those that support us.

***MAJOR RAFFLE***
The GUA will once again be running a major raffle this year after it was such a huge success last year.

This year we have once again been able to secure some great prizes and have been wonderfully supported by some great local businesses including , , John Duff & Co, Gumbuya World, Anaconda Stores, .the.farmer, & Poolkare Chemicals Pakenham.

The raffle is live and tickets are available now. $10 each and limited to 1000. We sold every ticket last year so get in early and avoid missing out

Due to unforeseen circumstances outside of GUA control, we are going to have to postpone tonight's Trivia Night. We will post a new date once we have organised it with the trivia company.

The rooms will still be open tonight with the footy on the TV and we will order some pizzas so come on down and still have a great night.

All tickets already purchased will be honoured on the new date however if you would like a refund, please reach out via [email protected] and we will organise it.

Vale Teddy 💔

This coming weekend, all GUA umpires will wear black armbands in memory of life member Edward "Teddy" Coad, who sadly passed away last Friday.

Teddy was a founding member of the West Gippsland Umpires Association, which became the Gippsland Umpires Association. He was a past President, committee member over multiple years, umpired over 300 games across field and goal and was the goal umpire coach also. Teddy is remembered as an all around great bloke and will be sorely missed, especially on Life Members night when he used to love belting out the umpires song with his fellow life members.

Our condolences go out to all of Teddy's family and friends and all those who loved him.

Another big week at training this week. It was great to have the lights working at Bellbird Park again so we could all get out on the oval and work on some fitness and skill drills. Then back inside for another great dinner from the The Royal Hotel Drouin

Just like any other sporting club, the GUA gets together every Thursday night for dinner and have social events, suitable for all ages, throughout the season. Come on down and say hello and see if you want to get involved.
