From the wide open links to narrow tree lined fairways, each hole at Drouin presents a different challenge and the gently undulating landscape enables easy relaxed walking for all ages. Drouin also has plenty of WOW factor. A perfect example of this is upon arriving at the 10th tee. The long sweeping par four looks testing enough but it's

the obstacle - two white-painted rails just ahead - that truly catches the eye. Even when one is instantly aware the rails frame part of a racecourse - the home of the Drouin Picnic Race Club. The rather narrow but picturesque track captures seven of the golf club's 18 holes - and hitting a drive over the track is all part of the fun here.

What does a Saturday at Drouin Golf look like? 👀⛳

Our Saturday mixed comp runs with a one-tee start, bringing 160+ players out each week and creating an unbeatable atmosphere across the course.

✔️ Fresh coffee in the clubhouse from 8am
✔️ Fresh salad rolls available early

Thanks to the one-tee start, we’re also able to welcome social players with carts from 1:30pm - one of the few chances in the area for non-members to enjoy 18 holes on a Saturday afternoon.

We were excited to play host to our major partner Community Bank Drouin & District as they held their quarterly cheque presentation at the club on Tuesday 👏

It was fantastic to see 17 local community groups in attendance, with an incredible $104,203.54 distributed through sponsorships and grants on the night. This now brings the Community Bank’s total contributions for the current financial year to an amazing $200,928.77 🎉

Even more impressive, over the past 24 years, the Community Bank has returned more than $7.4 million back into our local community through sponsorships, donations, and grants — supporting sporting clubs, charities, community groups, and initiatives that make our region such a great place to live 🙌

As a club, we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and proud to see so many of our members choosing to bank locally. Every banking choice made with the Community Bank helps create outcomes just like this for the clubs, groups, and charities close to home.

The Drougal Cup Returns! 🏆

Established in 2006, the Drougal Cup between Warragul and Drouin hasn't been played for a few years but on Tuesday, it made a triumphant comeback!

Historically, this challenge consisted of two matches a year (one hosted by each club), with the winning team decided by a unique format: combining each team’s 4 best Stableford scores plus their lowest score.

Warragul took the win with a spectacular 157 points to Drouin’s 137! 💥

Pictured from left to right are the 5 women who secured the victory with their contributing scores: Heather Steenholdt, Helen Burke, Annette Sutherland, Carol Stephen, and Eve Robbins.

A special thanks to Captains Chris and Leanne Pollard for getting this great event back on the calendar, and to Irene and Geoff Thomas for donating the current trophy (following the original donated by Rose Gallagher).
