The lifesaving community will come together to celebrate the life of Terry Peterson OAM, a true life saving legend and passionate supporter of volunteers.

A memorial service for Terry will be held at:
Sandringham Yacht Club
Thursday 18 June
11:00am

We encourage all Life Saving Clubs and members of our broader lifesaving family to share these details so those whose lives were touched by Terry have the opportunity to pay their respects.

To celebrate World Oceans Day, we are teaming up with Mornington Yacht Club and Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron for a charity screening of the award winning documentary ‘The Dolphin Dilemma’. You’ll hear from the Marine Mammal Foundation’s Dr Kate about our research, and the current state of the critically endangered local Burrunan dolphin. This will be followed by the special screening of ‘The Dolphin Dilemma’ which has won over 80 international awards since its launch at Cannes International Film Festival.

This week, we celebrate the incredible volunteers who make Dromana Bay Life Saving Club such a special part of our community.

Our club simply wouldn't be what it is without the people who generously give their time, energy and passion to support others and strengthen our community

From patrols, Nippers, IRB and training, to BBQs, fundraising and the many behind-the-scenes jobs that keep the club running, every contribution matters.

Whether you volunteer every weekend or lend a hand when you can, thank you. Your dedication helps create a welcoming, safe and connected environment for members of all ages.
