Today we played for our annual ANZAC Day trophies.
Craig Dunlop and Helen Ricciardi took out the top men’s and ladies prizes for the day.

They both also won their respective divisions with Glen Bryce taking out the Men’s A Division.

Congratulations to all who stuck it out in cool showery conditions.

***FREE GIRLS GET INTO GOLF CLINIC***
Girls only get into golf clinics up to 17 years of age are being held here at Isis Golf Club, Wednesday 15 April from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.

**UPDATE**

COURSE OPEN for social walkers and members carts today, Thursday 12 March.

Happy days! 😀

Our course remains closed today, Wednesday 11 March and we will reassess tomorrow. We should be good to go Friday!
Monthly Medals will be played Saturday, with our Men’s Open being held Sunday 15 March.

🎉 IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN!!! 🎉⛳️

Another Hole-In-One at Isis Golf Club and this time it is 21 year old Bryden Blair who has done it! 👏🔥

Bryden produced a beauty on our very first Saturday morning trial competition, acing the 129 metre, Par 3, 6th hole with one bounce on the green and straight into the cup. Absolute perfection. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

That makes FIVE holes-in-one since 10 September 2025, in just six months. After going many years without one, our club has suddenly come alive with ace magic.

What is going on at Isis Golf Club? 😄

Huge congratulations Bryden. A brilliant achievement and a moment you will never forget. Another proud name heading onto our Honour Board.

Our club is officially on fire. 🔥⛳️🎉

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our much loved past President, Ken Albion.

We didn't really know how to put it in words, so we wrote a little poem for Ken to reflect the life and spirit of this lovely man.

Born in nineteen thirty-six, in Millmerran’s sun,
Queensland dust where his long days begun.
A quiet boy with a steady way,
Learning kindness early, day by day.

Seventy years in a classroom’s light,
Guiding young minds, patient and kind.
From chalkboards near to shores afar,
Africa, Tonga, Philippines stars.

He taught not just lessons, numbers and words,
But how to be gentle, how to be heard.
A calm presence, steady and true,
The kind of teacher the world needs more of too.

Three children—Russel, Lisa, Sara—his pride,
Four grandchildren also close by his side.
Loved dearly, deeply, without demand,
With open heart and outstretched hand.

On fairways green he found his joy,
A simple game, no fuss or noise.
Eleven years president, Isis Golf Club knew
A leader who led by being true.

Placid in nature, soft in tone,
Ken made the world feel less alone.
A gentle soul, a life well run—
Measured not in trophies, but hearts he’d won.

A farewell to Ken will be held Friday 06 February at Pinaroo Chapel, Bridgeman Downs (Brisbane) at 12:30pm, followed by a celebration of Ken's life at Ashgrove Golf Club at 2:00pm.

🇦🇺Australia Day - 3 Person Ambrose at Isis Golf Club 🇦🇺

We held our Australia Day Three Person Ambrose at Isis Golf Club, and it was a fantastic day all round ☀️
Despite the heat, we had a great turnout and plenty of good golf, laughs, and Aussie spirit 🇦🇺👏
