Message from our secretary and umpire coordinator Linda McCabe ⬇️

“What a great start to the season!

We have approx 30 Nets and Sets players, we have 4 teams of Gos all with coaches, we have 4 teams of Juniors all with coaches and we have 4 teams of Seniors. What we don't have are UMPIRES!

We need umpires for our Junior games on Saturdays. The timeslot is 10am to 11am.
We are asking, particularly our Senior players to give up 1 or 2 Saturday mornings in the season to help your Association. You don't have to be an experienced umpire, just a basic knowledge of the rules.

Most of you have played netball from a young age and have always had umpires, in fact I have umpired quite a few of you at the old Egan Park netball courts!

Great news for our Go players, we have been able to create four teams for this grade!

We are still looking for a coach for one team. A big thank you to the Junior players who have put their hand up to play both Go and Juniors. This has helped us to make the four teams.

If there are any other 11 year olds who would like to play both please come along this Saturday 9th May and we can place you in a team! ☺️🏐

Placement Day is this Saturday 2nd May 🥳🏐

It would be appreciated by the committee if Go players could arrive at 8:45 am to find out teams and coaches for a 9:00 am game start. Juniors to arrive at 9:45 am to find out their teams and coaches for a 10:00 am start.

As always teams are subject to change and please come in suitable netball attire and shoes, no jewellery and with short nails.

There are still development opportunities for 12&U and 14&U players and they can approach Brodie on Saturdays or on [email protected] 🏐

🌟🏐 Seniors starts this week! 🏐🌟

All teams will play at 6:30 pm this week, however due to umpire availability, future games will likely be held over two timeslots. This will be discussed with players this Wednesday.

Please wear your team colour and black bottoms (shorts, skirts and leggings are all fine). Remember to take your jewellery off and have your nails cut short.
