Fresh start for my business ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ old business page is getting a re-vamp, stay tuned!

A little background:
I have worked for 17 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, nutritionist, group exercise instructor and fitness and nutrition course writer and lecturer.

When covid hit, my industry pretty much shut down! 7 months of lockdowns in Melbourne made it impossible to work as a coach face to face.

I moved to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to chase the sun which has been a goal many years in the making. I took a job in education which has been great, but itโ€™s time to move on and get back to what I am passionate about - working with and helping people become fitter, stronger and healthier ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŽ

This will be my full time business and Iโ€™m so excited to re-start the journey ๐Ÿ’—

How are you fueling your evening training? Do you feel you could have a little more energy in the tank?

Letโ€™s look at some easy pre-training nutrition strategies to get you feeling and training at your best ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

Most of us take our lunch break at work at around 12:00pm to 1:00pm-ish which leaves a HUGE 5-6 hour gap before training!! A snack mid-afternoon will top up your fuel, so letโ€™s look at the 1 to 2 hour rule:

Letโ€™s say youโ€™re training at 6:00pm, therefore a snack at 4:00pm, up till 5:00pm at the latest is recommended. So what should you have?

Snacks could include rice cakes or whole grain bread with peanut/nut butter, yoghurt with fruit or nuts, a banana or even a fruit salad or cup of berries with some nuts, a home made granola style protein bar/ball, carrot/veggie sticks and hummus.

From 5:00pm onwards, all you need to do is continue to sip on water to ensure you are hydrated (remember to drink plenty of water throughout the entire day too!!)

Following these steps will help you feel amazing during your next workout or run!!

Food should be enjoyed. I don't believe in dieting. Majority of my pt clients over the years were either already on a diet when they came to see me, had tried every diet under the sun or were wanting me to put them "on" a diet...the thing is, people come "off" diets...so what happens then? They gain weight and the cycle starts again....๐Ÿค” if you want to enjoy real food AND get healthy/results/weight loss, it CAN be done without dieting - DM me for details โ˜บ๏ธ

New direction for my old page โ˜บ๏ธ

Competing and competition prep was a big part of my training and my business over the past 5 years, however my focus has shifted over the last 6 months to align more with the values I wish to bring to the people around me.

Holistic fitness which encompasses all aspects of health and wellness is where my personal and business goals are at. I will be placing a huge emphasis on nutrition which is really exciting as it is truly where my passion lies ๐Ÿ™Œ

I have a new office at Goodlife Docklands in Melbourne, which is a beautiful and well equipped training facility ๐Ÿ‘Œ

If you need help with your nutrition and lifestyle, are keen to get in shape, learn how to train and hit some goals send me a PM. I have a couple of AM time slots currently available. (all my day times and evenings are full).
