This week’s Netballer of the Week goes to Chloe Johnson, Proudly sponsored by Diggers Rest Dental House!

Chloe’s speed and work rate were on full display, covering the court with ease and creating opportunities wherever she went. Her relentless defensive pressure kept her opponents under constant pressure, while her pace and determination allowed her to drive the ball forward and provide valuable attacking options for her teammates.

Congratulations to Matthew “Polly” Baird on being named Footballer of the Week, proudly sponsored by Step Ahead Finance.

In one of the biggest games of the season, Polly stood tall when it mattered most. Bringing plenty of physicality, composure and experience to the contest, he played his role to perfection and helped drive the Burras into the Grand Final.

Join us at the club this Thursday night for our Grand Final training & selection night as we gear up for the biggest weekend of the year!

We’ve also invited our prospective Under 17 & Under 19 players for 2027 to come down from 6pm to watch training, meet the coaches/players and get backstage insight.

Then from 7pm, all are invited upstairs for:

All Burras supporters are encouraged to order their Melbourne Caters Thursday night meal at the attached link and hear our Grand Final Football and Netball teams read out upstairs on Thursday night.
