We often think we need to be pushing harder to make progress, but sometimes the most productive thing we can do is slow down.

Movement and rest go hand in hand. While movement helps us build strength, mobility and confidence, rest gives our bodies the opportunity to recover, recharge and adapt.

Some days you’ll feel ready to take on a challenging class, and other days a gentle stretch, walk or rest day might be exactly what your body needs.

The key is balance and learning to listen to your body rather than fighting against it.💛
