DRTC Courts will be closed from 13 April to 6 June 2026 (estimated) for Council redevelopment works.
All members will receive a detailed update over the weekend. We will post updates as the works progress to keep our community informed.

We’re so excited to spotlight another amazing local organisation right here in Diggers Rest!

This week we’re featuring the team at Diggers Rest Tennis Club Inc, the go to spot for anyone looking to get active, learn a new skill, or meet some fantastic neighbours.

We caught up with Clare, who kindly volunteers her time to help run the club, and Aidan, the club’s talented coach. We chatted about the coaching programs they offer for all ages and what it’s like being a cornerstone of our growing community.

Supporting local is at the heart of what we do, and we love seeing clubs like this thrive. They are about to undergo a nice renovation soon and then will be looking nice and revamped by the end of the year ✨

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or picking up a racquet for the first time, be sure to stop by, say hello, and show them some love! 🎾🎾

Hi Diggers Rest community

We don’t want to be writing this post, but there have been repeated issues that require us to address this publicly.

Dogs are strictly prohibited on our tennis courts. There is clear signage displayed that dogs are not allowed. There is a fenced off-leash dog park available approximately 100m west of the courts at the Diggers Rest Recreation Reserve.

As a general rule of thumb, only tennis players and necessary equipment should be on a tennis court. This means water bottles (no glass), racquets, balls, and appropriate tennis footwear.
Please do not eat food, wear inappropriate footwear (e.g. work boots/football boots) or ride bikes/scooters/etc. on court.

This is to prevent damage to the court surface and for the safety of all tennis participants.

We ask that you please follow any requests of DRTC Committee members and coaches when in attendance at the courts. We don’t deserve a serve (unless it’s a tennis ball during game play).
