"We rise by lifting others." — Robert Ingersoll

To us, our community has proven to be a safety net of people who know our character and stepped into the metaphorical ring for us. Recent questions on our integrity have been incredibly challenging and impacted us deeply, but your overwhelming support proved louder than any negativity.

We can advise that the interim suspension has now been lifted effective immediately.

Thank you for standing firmly with us. We are stronger together.

Carolyn and Nick here. We want to address an article published by the ABC that linked a person associated with hate and extremism to our gym and implied wrongdoing by us.

Titans is a family business, and for the past 17 years we have been proud to be part of this community. Over that time, we have supported local clubs, given our time to the boxing and taekwondo community, and worked alongside schools, disengaged young people, and special needs groups.

We want to be absolutely clear: there is no place at Titans for hate, racism, extremism, bullying, discrimination or hate speech. These values do not reflect who we are, and they are not welcome in our gym.

Like many community gyms, we do not conduct police checks or search backgrounds online. What we do pay close attention to, is behaviour inside our gym, and we have always acted to maintain a safe, respectful environment where people can come to train, improve themselves and feel supported.

The person referred to in the ABC article was a casual member who had attended our adult evening fitness classes over the past couple of months. They kept to themselves and left after class. There was little interaction. There was nothing in their conduct at the gym that raised concerns at the time.

Like many others in our community, we were shocked when this information came to light. As soon as these concerns were brought to our attention, we immediately verified the information and banned this individual from the gym.

We have been deeply hurt by the impact of this article on our gym, our members and our wider community. Those who know us know our values, our character and our longstanding commitment to this community and the kind of place we have always worked to build.
To help prevent a situation like this from occurring again, we have introduced additional membership policies and screening procedures.

We are grateful for the support, understanding and kindness shown to us by so many in our community, and we remain committed to being a safe, welcoming and positive place for our members.

Busy weekend of Bouts
Starting off at the Amateurs with finally getting a match up and Grateful his opponent gave him 2 bouts to help him with his State team quota

William Boxed on Saturday and Sunday against a 2 x National champion with 30 more bouts than William.
William Boxed well and turned up the 2nd day to Box even better.
We thank his opponent and Coach for giving will the opportunity to boost his quota to be able to compete at this year's Nationals

Saturday night we saw jump back in the ring, twice in 6 weeks to stop his experienced opponent in the 2nd round

Thanks to All for the support, and it was great to meet the new inclusion to the team, little baby girl, Miss Nora.
