Huge congratulations to all athletes who stepped onto the mats at the Port Macquarie Open 2026 NSW AFBJJ Jiu-Jitsu Championship 🥋

What an amazing day of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, filled with courage, respect, and heart. Every competitor showed true dedication—not just in their performance, but in the way they carried themselves, supported each other, and represented the spirit of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents, families, and friends who came out this Sunday to support. Your presence, encouragement, and energy are what truly bring this community to life and make events like this so special.

Moments like these remind us that Jiu-Jitsu is more than a sport—it’s a family, a lifestyle, and a shared journey of growth on and off the mats.

It would mean a lot to have all of you on the mats for this special class. I’ve prepared a little surprise for everyone, and it will be a beautiful moment to come together, train, and celebrate the strength of the amazing women in our community.

If you usually come to the Tuesday class and would like to switch to Wednesday just for this week, that would be wonderful. The more of us there together, the more special it will be.

Yesterday was grading day and we are SO proud of all the hard work, consistency and heart these kids have been showing in every class at Legacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Midcoast.
