Hi everyone. I’m sad to say that we are out for the rest of the year. We have looked at a few different options in what to do gearbox wise. I’ve learnt from building cars previously a poor man pays twice so instead of getting another box the same and run the chance of it exploding we have come to the conclusion to run a gearmotive dog box that MST tuning and Skinner custom fabrication are going to build/put together! Unfortunately Financially This is going to be a massive blow and to go this way I’ll be looking at the high 4 figures if not bump into the 5 figure mark and at the moment I don’t have that sort of money. So on behalf of myself and the team I’d like to apologise to the sponsors and fans. Hopefully we can get the car sorted to run in the early part of next season but yeah fingers crossed 🤷‍♂️😅

Hi everyone! First off I’d like to say thank you to those who reached out after last round with the kind words and encouragement after feeling pretty deflated and disappointed about blowing the gearbox it really meant a lot.

Gutted is an understatement……

The gearbox decided to let go with about half hour left of practice. I was left with 1st and 2nd gear and lost 3rd, 4th, 5th, reverse and neutral so there was no way of possibly being able to go battle in the skyline today. Which sucked as I felt like my driving today was the best it’s ever been…

I’m so sorry to all my sponsors and my team for letting you all down and to my friends, family and fans who made the effort to come out today.

Unsure on the road ahead but will keep you all informed once we have some time to sit back and go over a few things.

Again sorry to all and it’s not a post I wanted to write.

Come find your favourite driver this Saturday in the pits. We run an open pit policy, but please be mindful and respectful. A lot of our top drivers are happy to entertain there fans, for photos, chats and many have Merch & Sticker packs on hand - so come support the boys and you never know, perhaps you can organise a passenger ride. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Our schedule has changed dramatically, with Amateur (L2) class in the morning and Pro (L1) in the afternoon - and a combined practice under lights from 4:00 - 6:00pm. Make sure you plan your day ahead to make sure you don’t miss your favourites.

Well that’s round 3 of drift league done and dusted!

The weather was horrible! First time driving the car in the rain and driving symmons in the rain so first practice was a learning curve but the car and myself just clicked and I felt really comfortable in the car!
Practice 2 the track was mostly dry and I decided to “grow some balls” and hit the hump in 4th gear and again the car and myself just clicked and felt super comfortable again!
3rd practice was drizzling and again the car felt amazing!
Qualifying came up and then the heavens really opened up to the point there was a river running across part of the drift zone 😅 my first run I just wanted to get around cleanly and get some points which I did. My second run I felt was my best run of the day hitting most zones well but on the last corner ran a little bit wide and my back wheel hit the paint on the outside of the track and spun me. Luckily my first run was good enough to scrape into the top 16 battles!
The battles were another learning curve as it’s the first time drifting at night and my god do I need some better lights 😅 my chase run was horrible but my lead run felt good but unfortunately we didn’t make top 8.
All in all the day was amazing the car was perfect and didn’t miss a beat all day! A massive shout out to my fiancé Amelia for braving the weather and looking after Austin and a massive thank you to Hayley and oly for coming and supporting and helping out where needed!
