The Lismore Derrinallum Football Netball club is a community sports club which competes in the Mininera District associations in South West Victoria. This pages is for all supporters of the club to keep informed with what is happening around the club for the current season. The club is currently training at the Derrinallum Recreation Reserve, all existing and new players are welcome

Ben Atkins signs on for the 2027 season. Yes, there are two Ben Atkins!

Benny joins us from Deloraine Football Club in the Northern Tasmania Football Association.

He is an athletic, hard-running footballer who has played the majority of his footy across half-back. Featuring among Deloraine’s best on, in multiple occasions throughout the 2025 season.

He’s also no stranger to the area, having spent plenty of time around the district working during harvest.

Great to have you on board, Benny. We’re looking forward to seeing you in the Dees colours in 2027!

JOSH SANDERS RETURNS FOR 2027

The Lismore Derrinallum Football Netball Club is pleased to announce that Josh Sanders has re-signed for the 2027 season.

2027 will mark Josh’s fifth season with the Demons, where he has become an important leader and one of the most versatile players in our side.

Our Vice Captain and 2025 Premiership Player, Josh is the ultimate team man. While he has established himself at centre half back, his ability to play through the midfield, ruck or go forward means he’s always willing to take on whatever role is needed to help the team.

Josh’s hunger for the contested footy, strong marking and willingness to put his body on the line are trademarks of the way he plays. More importantly, his team-first attitude and leadership continue to set a great example for the group.

We’re excited to have Josh committed and wearing the red and blue again in 2027.

Preliminary Finals Results🏆

A huge congratulations to our Reserves on their incredible win yesterday in the Preliminary Final! With this win, they’ll join our Seniors in next week’s Grand Final.

It’s a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment both teams have shown throughout the season. They’ve given everything for the ultimate goal, and now it all comes down to the big one.

The preparation starts now. One more game. One more push.

LLEYTON WOOLLEY RETURNS FOR 2027

The Lismore Derrinallum Football Netball Club is pleased to announce that Lleyton Woolley has re-signed for the 2027 season.

2027 will mark Lleyton’s third season with the Demons, where he has established himself as an important part of our midfield group.

A 2025 Premiership Player, Lleyton is an endurance beast with a huge work rate and a genuine appetite for the contest. He thrives on the inside, winning his own football and doing the hard work around stoppages, while also having the ability to spread and provide plenty of drive on the outside.

Lleyton’s ability to continually get from contest to contest and impact the game on both the inside and outside makes him a valuable part of our midfield and the way we want to play.

We’re excited to have Lleyton committed and wearing the red and blue again in 2027.

Congratulations to our Seniors, who have locked in their spot in the 2026 Grand Final! The boys played hard and put together an exceptional game of football yesterday with a fantastic effort from the entire team.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t our day for the Reserves, who will get a second chance next week to earn their place in the Grand Final. It was also a tough day for our Juniors, with both teams going down in today’s semi-finals. Despite the results, every player should be incredibly proud of their efforts, commitment and performances throughout the season.

Week 2 Finals🏆

We’re ready to go for a jam-packed weekend of finals! We wish both our Seniors and Reserves the very best of luck as they take the field this Saturday at Dunkeld.

Then on Sunday, our Junior Footballers hit the ground running as they continue the fight and battle it out for their place in the finals. Let’s get behind all our teams and show them plenty of support across the weekend.

What a season it has been for LDFNC!

Congratulations to our Seniors, Reserves, Under 17’s and Under 13’s for finishing within the top 6 on the ladder. We’d also like to congratulate all of our netballers for all of the hard work and effort for the season. Although it wasn’t an favourable result in the end, each team should be proud of their achievements.

If you can, please head to Caramut and Macarthur Recreation Reserves this weekend to watch our junior footballers play it off to continue their season. Your support means a lot. Go Dees!🔵🔴

NOAH McINTOSH RETURNS FOR 2027

The Lismore Derrinallum Football Netball Club is pleased to announce that Noah McIntosh has re-signed for the 2027 season.

2027 will be Noah’s third season with the Demons, having established himself as an important midfielder/forward through his work rate and team-first approach.

A 2025 Premiership Player, Noah is a selfless footballer who consistently works hard to get from contest to contest. His elite handball skills and ability to release teammates into space are a real feature of his game.

Whether it’s winning the football through the midfield, hitting the scoreboard or applying pressure to lock the ball inside 50, Noah’s versatility and willingness to play his role make him an important part of our side.
