The Snig is having its first rebuild since inception back in 2018 😮‍💨😮‍💨
Rhys the World Trail magician is on the ground, cleaning up the alignment, deleting a few switchbacks, taming some pinch points and putting the Nig back in Snig. 👊🏽
Amongst the chocolaty dirt climb he’s also snuck in some jumps and rollers.

Due to be completed end of next week and then he moves onto ROXANNE.

Kick off DerbyFest with the Park to Pub Fun Run — an approximately 8km community run or walk along one of Derby’s most picturesque trails, Valley Ponds, before finishing at the pub.
Saturday October 17, at the Branxholm Recreation Ground, rego from 8.30am, starts at 9am.
Cross the finish line through the front doors of Dorset Hotel, where every participant will be welcomed with FREE Finish Line Flirt Spritz and a return shuttle with Up Down Around MTB

TASGRAV MINI-ENDURO IS COMING TO DERBYFEST and it’s about to get rowdy 🌪️

Proper enduro racing, Derby style, just a little shorter and a whole lot kinder on the body.

Expect 3–5 stages depending on your category, taking on a mix of Blue and Black trails, with shuttle uplift included in your entry.

Twisties switchbacks looking so fresh after recent rejuvenation work has been completed. 🪏
The work forms part of a larger winter maintenance project across the climbing trails to Black Stump, including Axehead and Long Shadows.
World Trail and the Trek Bicycle Australia and New Zealand Blue Derby team are continuing the work, with crews now commencing on The Snig before moving down to Roxanne. 👊🏽

Introducing DERBYFEST — a weekend-long celebration of everything we love about this little town.

OCTOBER 17–18, 2026.

Two days of bikes, racing, billycarts, ducks, running, live music, food, family fun and a whole lot of Derby character, just the way we like it!

From the fastest riders on Air Ya Garn’s first ever airflow race to homemade billycarts flying through town…

Hundreds (maybe thousands) of ducks racing down the Ringarooma River to our first ever Park to Pub Fun Run 🏃🏽

DerbyFest is for everyone.
