Derby Sporting Shooters Inc Rifle and Shotgun shooting club based in Derby, WA The Derby Sporting Shooters are a SSAA (WA) (Club W40) shooting club in Derby West Australia.

The club shoots clay target shotgun and both centrefire and rimfire rifle on a 50 metre and 200 metre range.

22/23 Memberships are now due. Reminding members that support letters require current club membership and attendance to club meets. AGM is postponed until 17 Jul 22 due to lack of quorum.

The AGM for the gun club will follow the regular 8am Sunday shoot on the 10th July. All committee positions will be vacant. Please send any nominations through.

The shotgun club will be having the final shoot for 2021 this Wednesday night. Come down and check out the lights, have a shoot and enjoy a bbq afterwards.

Some common Q and A regarding the gun club.
Q. When do you shoot?
A. 8am on Sunday's and starting a Wednesday night shoot under the new lights.
Q. What if I don't have a licence or a gun?
A. This is not a problem. You can use a club gun and shoot under supervision.
Q. I am interested in trying but I have never shot before, is this an issue
A. New comers are welcome. One of our club members will teach you all the safety protocols of the range and how to operate a gun safely and supervise you while you learn.
Q. How much is it?
A. Only $20 a round and $15 for ammo. Even cheaper with membership.
