The rain has finally caught up with us. Luckily we made it over the bridge a few days ago. The bridge over the Waiho River at Franz Josef has been washed away.
This is a 100-year event, there is a huge amount of rain.

Amazing. We spotted one of Australia's rarest birds - the noisy scrub bird - out at Cheynes Beach area. It was too quick for us to get a photo but Dave managed to record its call.
