Wishing the very talented Ruby Cowley the best of luck as she heads to Port Macquarie this week (May 26–28) to compete in the CHSSA Championships as part of the Riverina Open Netball team!

We are incredibly proud of Ruby and the effort she puts in week after week, shining in both Under 17s and A Grade.

A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved recognition — we know you’ll do the Rovers proud!

The Under 17s also made the most of the bye week, swapping their usual trainings out for plenty of laughs and team bonding.

The girls enjoyed a games night at Tuesday night’s training before bringing plenty of creativity and entertainment to Thursday night training with a “Dress for the Wrong Occasion” theme !

With the bye this week, the under 15s decided to take the opportunity to go watch some elite netball 🏐

They headed down to Melbourne yesterday to watch an epic game between Melbourne Mavericks vs Sunshine Coast lightning !

We are incredibly proud to announce that John Glowrey has been named the Adult Volunteer of the Year by Edward River Council ! 🏆🏉🏐

John’s contribution to the Deniliquin Rovers Football & Netball Club over many years has been nothing short of remarkable.

Whether it’s cooking Thursday night dinners, working behind the bar, helping in the canteen, umpiring and running for the footy, coordinating events, or taking on the jobs no one else wants to do — he does it all without hesitation.

John leads by example. His dedication, hard work, and genuine passion for both our club and the wider community are a huge part of what makes the Rovers such a special place.

Even after stepping down as President, John’s commitment hasn’t wavered. He continues to give his time, lend a hand, and support the club week in, week out.
