🎉 What a great first week! 🎉

We loved seeing everyone back on the track and kicking off the 2026/27 season!

⏰ Registrations are due TODAY!
If you're planning to register your athlete, please make sure you get it done today so we can finalise groups and get everything organised for the season.

👉 Important: If your athlete isn't registered in the system today, they won't receive points for Week 1, as we can't add points for athletes who aren't in the system.

Week One is here! 🎉 We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night and hope the kids are getting excited! With all the school carnivals happening lately, hopefully they’re feeling ready and raring to go.

The duty roster is below. For this first week, we haven’t allocated anyone specifically to support the Event Managers, so we’re asking that as you move around with your athletes, grab a measuring stick and lend a hand where you can. Help with measuring, marking, raking, collecting equipment, whatever needs doing. Many hands make light work!

We also have lots of trialists joining us this week, along with some big age groups, so Week One might be a little hectic.

But we say embrace the chaos! Help out where you can, be patient with each other, and we’ll get everyone settled into the Little As groove.

📣 What age group will my athlete be in?

We’ve had a couple of questions about which age group athletes will be in this season, so here’s a handy chart from Athletics NSW to help you work it out! 👇

The good news is, you don’t need to work it out yourself! When you register, as long as you enter the correct year of birth, the registration system will automatically tell you which age group your athlete needs to register in. 🙌

🏃‍♀️ 2026/27 Little Athletics Season – Everything You Need to Know! 🏃‍♂️

The countdown is on! We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another fantastic Little Athletics season, kicking off on Friday 14 August from 4.30pm.

📅 Season Dates
Friday Nights - 14th August - 4th December.
🕟 14 August – 25 September: 4.30 pm start
🕔 16 October – 4 December: 5.00 pm start

This year we're also introducing an optional Summer Series after the January school holidays. Our regular season remains exactly the same, but athletes who'd like a few extra opportunities to compete will be able to join some casual training in the new year. More information will be shared later in the season.

📝 Registrations
Registrations open 1 August and close 13 August.

💙 Tiny Tots 3-4 year olds (born in 2023 or 2022): $100
💛 Under 6–Under 18: $120
