Deloraine Amateur Basketball Association 2026/27 Basketball Season.
Planning has commenced to once again organise a Senior Basketball roster at Deloraine.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on,
Sunday 23 August at 6:00 PM in the Complex meeting room.
All positions will be declared vacant, however to allow the season to go ahead we will require all Executive Positions be filled, along with General Committee members.
If you feel you can play a role to assist Deloraine Amateur Basketball by holding a position on committee, please contact us as soon as possible so we may provide you with more details of what would be entailed.
Team Nomination Forms need to be completed and returned by Friday 21 August so that the roster can be discussed at the annual meeting and organised as soon as possible.
These will be emailed out to previous Team Manager contacts, will also be available via our website or otherwise feel free to contact us.
Please note that at least 7 playing members is required for a team to be registered.
This is to help reduce the number of games forfeited by teams due to lack of players.
Please also take into account all of The DABA by laws when submitting teams.
At this stage, playing nights are likely to be the same as the 2025/26 season.
A Grade Men - Monday
C Grade Men - Monday
C Grade Women - Monday
A Grade Women - Tuesday
B Grade Women - Tuesday
B Grade Men - Wednesday
However, we hope to have more definite details of playing nights, times etc at the General Meeting once team forms have been lodged.
Please put on the nomination form your preferred playing night for consideration.
As with previous seasons, anyone willing to referee is always appreciated and support will be provided.
With your help, we look forward to getting the new season up and running soon.
