As our 2026 Season draws to an end, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our Reserves coaches David “Browny” Brown and Adam “Robo” Robinson.
Both will no longer be continuing on as coaches in 2027.
Their time as coaches hasn’t been an easy one, and the challenges faced by our Reserves have been well documented. But through it all, Browny and Robo continued to show up, put in the work and, importantly, keep believing in our players and our club.
They have worked tirelessly to try to recruit new players, retain our existing players and build a Reserves side in what has been, at times, incredibly challenging circumstances. Their commitment to the role and willingness to keep going is something we are incredibly grateful for. They have played an important part in helping set the foundations for the future of our Reserves and our football club. And while we thank Browny for three years of hard work and dedication, there is an extra special thank you for Robo. 💙
After 8 years involved in the Reserves coaching role, Robo is bringing an end to an incredible era of service to our club.
Eight years of giving up weekends, training nights, time with family and countless hours behind the scenes is an enormous contribution, and one that deserves to be recognised and celebrated.
Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye. Both will remain part of the DFC family, and we’re sure we’ll still see plenty of them around the club in 2027 and beyond. 💙
