The Eastern philosophy of Body, Mind and Spirit can be embraced simply by understanding your body needs good:
# nutrition🥑🍆🍇🍠 Foods that have not been altered
# exercise🧍‍♂️👫🕺 An exercise you will enjoy for the rest of
your life.
# balanced energy 🌗 Your thoughts & reactions.
# relaxation ⏳🈳🈂️ Regeneration time.

Your mind needs a good, positive mental attitude and a healthy self-image.
Your spirit needs love, happiness and inner peace with much laughter.

Join in on Thursday 10am to 11am for Tai Chi & Qi Gong at the Western Tiers Community Club Deloraine.

Having been a Naturopath/Herbalist/Nutritionist plus a Massage therapist, Bowen Therapist (instructor) & Emmett Therapist (instructor) I have found that when clients incorporate Tai Chi & Qi Gong into their daily life there health improves drastically.

Qi Gong is a form of medicine.

However, it’s not just any kind of medicine. It’s preventative medicine.

While it will work for acute and chronic conditions, Qi Gong was designed to help you prevent illness and disease before they even occur.

That’s why people in Ancient China paid their doctors when they were healthy… and would stop paying when they got sick. The focus was truly on health-care.

In the West, we have what we call sick-care. People go to their doctor when they’re sick, but not to stay healthy.

Which is why we recommend people practice at least three times a week for about twenty minutes (at a minimum).

Twenty minutes is enough time for your mind and body to fully relax. And three times a week is frequent enough for your Qi to stay energized and continue flowing.

Then ask yourself how are you feeling after just a few days of practice? Energized? Relaxed? Less stressed? Not as tight? Feeling more at ease? More inner peace?

The most beneficial thing is that the more you practice, the deeper the effects become. Meaning, more relaxation… more stress relief… even less tightness, tension, and pain.

Tai Chi is an art and an exercise from ancient China. Today, most people practice Tai Chi because of its near-magical health and relaxation benefits.

Suitable for almost anyone, Tai Chi brings harmony between the inner and outer self through integration of the mind and body. The flowing movements unlock powerful inner strength – the power for healing and wellness.

Over 500 medical studies have shown that Tai Chi improves many aspects of health, from calming the mind to reducing high blood pressure, improving immunity, improving balance and preventing falls, relieving arthritis pain, helping people with heart conditions and diabetes, and much more.

More importantly, Tai Chi is enjoyable and makes you feel better about yourself.

Tai Chi classes are being held at Western Tiers Community Club, Parsonage St, Deloraine on every Thursday morning 10am-11am.

This venue is a great place for Tai Chi with a large open room, which is sunny and warm, courtesy of the heating to keep us warm during the coming winter months.

Keeping with Tradition, yesterday we had Oolong Tea with Rose Bud which was delicious and next week we will try Sencha Tea which has an amazing flavour.

All participants are enjoying the process of learning and now at the point where they are able to flow with the forms being learnt. This is an easy paced enjoyable class.
Come along and join in if you would like to try this amazing exercise technique or contact Sandra for a chat on

This relaxation is a health giving benefit to the central nervous system and removing tension being held within the body.

Stretching is an important part of Tai Chi and in particular the hamstrings which tend to shorten when we are sedentary for eg. an office job and then cause tension in lower back area. Cost $10 Venue: Western Tiers Community Club. Parsonage St. Deloraine
