Weekend wrap up from Round 2 of the Rubbercraft Tyres Australia Replica Tourers championship @ Queensland Raceway.

Started out with a single practice session on the old Kumho's and with what felt like the quickest turn around we were straight into qualifying. Struggling with some oversteer we were able to get up to P5 to kick the weekend off.
Race 1 was an interesting start under the new AASA standing regs, 2 warm an forms and then an aborted start. Things finally got going and still struggling with over steer, we trailed Ash Isarasena for most of the race but capotilalised on a mistake and maintained P4.
Race 2 saw us almost chase the safety car into the pit lane on the race start, no backing the field up here. Chased the top 3 down for most of the race until Jason Grimmond suffered and intermittant issue he has been hunting down for a while, this saw us pop up into 3rd. Grimmo came back at us and migt have gotten us if it wasn't for his issue popping its head back up. Nothing like being chased down though, we were able to sneak a PB lap in, 11 laps into a 12 lap race. Finished in P3.
R3 saw us almost chase the safety car down again but with Kester Ward at the wheel he made it into the pits safely. Grimmo got ahead of us at the start and we were able to hang onto to P4. Manged to punch out another PB.
R4 was on the shorter clubman circuit. I was able to get ahead of Scott Pedley Motorsport for a few laps but a mistake into turn 6 let him past. Maintained P4
Great weekend was had, with some real reliability gains enabling us to complete all races over the week with a good points haul along with being able to spend some time on setup rather then repairs.
Congratulation to Shane Stuart for the clean sweep, awesome effort.
Massive thank you to Laura Davidson and Mark Bretherton from MB Motorsport for your help.
