💛🖤🐀 The Ratpack takes Radelaide! 🐀🖤💛
With full hearts and sore bodies we're making our way home from The Great Southern Slam. And what a cracking adventure we've had!
We're so proud of our entire ratty crew for their strength and resilience in two very tough and very fun games. First up was South Central – a challenging team full of hard hitters who fought us for every point right till the end. They took out the win in a close game!

In our second game, just a few hours later, we took on Murder City and Convict City. Their jukey jammers kept us on our toes, but we played the game our way. Stronger together!

On Monday, Oh Gee and the Mad Splatter took the track as part of The Gender Ending Story exhibition game against Team Indigenous Dreaming - Roller Derby. What a game! We were so excited and proud to cheer them on and witness the strength and resilience of both teams.
Lucky officiated nine games across the weekend, including the div 3 finals, and benched for Team Indigenous Dreaming. This was Lucky's final tournament before their move to Canada. Thanks for all you have contributed to BRDL over the years, Lucky! You will be missed 💛🖤
As well as spending time trackside cheering on our derby BFFs, we went on several South Australian side quests featuring eating, drinking, wildlife spotting, dancing up a storm and exploring all the sights along the way.
Today, as we ice our bodies and integrate back into the real world, we're grateful to our captains, Freakshow Francis and Snipples, our coaching team and committee, and our game day bench crew: The Rock, Alice, Corey and Flutterbye, with Eviloffspring mirroring. Thanks for all you did to make the weekend unforgettable.
