TO ALL MEMBERS,

The Deer Park Tennis Club committee would like to extend a heart felt THANK YOU to our tennis club members who had representatives of their family attend and volunteer their precious time to join our club working bee yesterday.-

The Pineda Family, Kalavrianos Family, Dolcetta Family, De Trizio Family, Roemer Family and the Braszell Family.

Just proves that the community feel is still alive and well at our tennis club!

A lot of work was completed, however, there are still some outstanding areas that still need work.

If you and your family couldn't make it yesterday, please let's all honour the efforts of the people that attended yesterday and finish the job.

Please spend 20 minutes of your next visit to pull out some weeds, sweep the paths and a general tidy up including around courts 5&6, should see our faciliy in great shape for summer.

TO ALL MEMBERS,

The Deer Park Tennis Club will be holding a club working bee this coming SATURDAY 16th NOVEMBER, 2024 @ 1PM SHARP to prepare the facilities for the busy summer holiday period.
We require ALL of our members to attend which will make light work for everybody involved.

REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR WORKERS! So call your family members, team members and let's all get stuck in!!

Please bring with you gloves and any equipment you have to help with general clean up works, weeding and anything else you can see that we need to do to give our club a well earned LIFT for a super summer of tennis!

Please don't leave it to the same people!!

If you can't make it on the day, then please spend 20 minutes of your next visit to pull out some weeds, wash the club house windows or pick up some rubbish.

We all want to feel proud of our facility! So let's clean it up.

Dear Members,

The executive committee of the Deer Park Tennis Club Inc. hereby declare that the 2023/24 Annual General Meeting of the club will be held on Tuesday 6th August, 2024 from 7.00pm at our Sassella Park clubhouse.

At this meeting we will discuss the activities of the club for the 2023/24 club financial year ending 31st March, 2024. An update regarding the club's current position and exciting future plans will be provided.
If you can not attend, please let Shane Braszell know and an apology will be made on your behalf.

If you would like to nominate a current financial member over the age of 18 years, holding senior or family membership, for a position on the committee please reply to this email or via our PO Box 2069 Brimbank Central Deer Park Victoria 3023. Only one member per family membership entitled to join the committee as per the club's constitution. To be nominated for a position on the committee, you need an entitled current financial member to nominate an entitled current financial member, as per the club's constitution.

Dear Members,

The Committee of the Deer Park Tennis Club Inc. would like to invite members and their friends to join a senior competition night tennis team for Spring 2023. You have plenty of time to organise your team. Then you'll be set to enjoy some competition night tennis during the best time of the year!! ENTRIES CLOSE 31st May, 2023.

Our club has a rich history of fielding competition teams in our local tennis associations, and we would be very pleased if you could consider forming a team to represent our club. Once you play a season of competition team tennis you'll be hooked.

We are particularily interested in calling on former junior competition players that have aged out of juniors and wish to bring your team together again to form your senior team, in either mens, ladies or mixed. That would be a great way to stay connected through tennis! Please contact your former team mates and let them know.

Also, we are very interested in fielding ladies or mixed teams. I'm sure there are lots of ladies that would love to join a team. Please let the club know if you're interested. We will field teams on a first in best dressed - teams are limited to six men's, six ladies and six mixed.

The new Spring 2023 night tennis season will begin in the first week of August.

Men's team competition play on a Thursday evening from 7pm. Men's teams consist of four (4) men playing each week and at least one (1) additional man to rotate to make up a team of at least five (5) players can be registered.
Ladies team competition play on a Tuesday evening from 7pm. Ladies teams consist of four (4) ladies playing each week and at least one (1) additional lady to rotate to make up a team of at least five (5) players can be registered.
Mixed team competition play on a Wednesday evening from 7pm. Mixed teams consist of two (2) ladies and two (2) men each week and at least one (1) man and one (1) lady to rotate to make up a team of at least six (6) players, three (3) ladies and three (3) men, can be registered.
All teams are graded A to D which caters for beginners. A great way to develop your game and meet tennis players from other clubs!
