nomination form before Wednesday 7th October. This is an amazing experience for athletes.

The New Zealand Development Tour is a unique and exciting opportunity for Little Athletics Queensland athletes in the U14 and U15 age groups.

Athletes of all ability levels are encouraged to apply. This tour is designed as a development opportunity and supports growth at every stage of an athletes journey.

The new season is in full swing, and the first event in the Coles Summer Carnival Series is fast approaching!

The Series gives U9 - U17 athletes of all abilities the opportunity to enjoy their favourite events across two smaller competition days—without the pressure of a major Championship event.

Expect a fantastic big-event atmosphere, plenty of Club pride and a day filled with fun, friendship and great competition!

Our renovated D Area will feature tartan javelin and high jump facilities, giving our athletes a fantastic new surface to train and compete on! 🙌

That means no more competing on the grass for these events! 🎉

📍Deception Bay near Skate Park 4:30-5:30pm.
📍Session will be focussing on explosive starts and 400m training.

Are you dreaming of… 🌭 A good old sausage in bread? 🍟 Hot chips? 🥪 Toasted sandwiches? 🍫 Plenty of snacks and treats? 🥤 Ice-cold drinks? 🍎 Some healthier options? ☕ Coffee for the grown-ups who have survived the afternoon rush? 😂
Or maybe you have a brilliant canteen idea we haven’t thought of!

We’re looking for someone who would love to take on the Friday Night Canteen Coordinator role for the season.

The job includes:
🛒 Getting the canteen ready before athletes hit the track
🍔 Serving up the goodies during the night
📦 Keeping an eye on stock
🧹 Cleaning and packing up afterwards
🙌 Helping make the canteen a fun part of Friday nights at DBLA!

You don’t need to be a professional chef — just someone who is organised, friendly and happy to get involved! 😁
