Our new track is really starting to come together and it's looking fantastic! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
We can't wait to see our athletes back out there making the most of this amazing new facility.

A huge thank you to the State and Federal Governments for helping make this project a reality. We truly appreciate the support and investment in our athletes, our Centre, and the wider community. 👏💚

💚🤍 TRACK UPDATE 💚🤍

Our 2026/27 season is set to kick off in August, and we're excited to share that our new track is almost ready! We are hoping construction will be completed by the end of July, although recent weather has caused a few delays.

A huge thank you to the State and Federal Governments for helping make this project a reality. We truly appreciate the support and investment in our athletes, our Centre, and the wider community. 👏💚

On the weekend, some of our committee members attended the 2026 Little Athletics Queensland Conference!
It was a fantastic weekend filled with learning, connection, celebration, and fun alongside Little Athletics volunteers from centres across the state.
A huge congratulations to our Centre Manager, Leanne, on receiving the Barrie Cox Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award! 🎉
This prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication, passion, and countless hours Leanne contributes, not only to DBLA but to the entire LAQ community.
We are incredibly proud of you and grateful for everything you do for our athletes, families, and volunteers. 💚🤍

Training will be held on Monday 1/6 & Monday 8/6 with Coach Helen at Settlement Cove Lagoon, Redcliffe from 5:30pm–6:30pm.
📍 Meet in the carpark.

As this is a public space, parents may be asked to position themselves around the area to help ensure athlete safety.
