Target Pistol Australia wishes to advise that, following a review of the results, an administrative error was identified in the calculation and recording of team scores for the Phil Adams Trophy, which was presented at the awards dinner.

As a result, the trophy was awarded based on incorrect team score information.

We sincerely apologise to all teams, athletes, officials and supporters for this error, and for any disappointment or confusion it may have caused. We understand the importance of recognising achievements accurately and respectfully.

The results have now been corrected, and Target Pistol Australia congratulates New South Wales as the rightful recipients of the Phil Adams Trophy.

We are also reviewing our processes to help minimise the likelihood of similar errors occurring in the future.
